    They have been updating warband, since NW required an updated exe, so it was convenient to add in the latest dev build. As for MB2 - according to Ragnor (one of the devs) and an italian interview released in the MB2 sticky in the guildhall the modding system will be entirely overhauled and not feature any module system any more. As all major modding is currently done with the module system, you can safely say that MB2 will not be very similar to MB (from a modding perspective - obviously setting, fighting, etc will be similar).

    Do note that this isnt bad news, in fact they have clearly stated that the modding abilities will be expanded rather than restricted.

    I wonder how that will work. I hope we can see Brytenwalda again for that as well. Though, if they have to start from scratch it may be a lot of work.  :sad:

    You should just extract it and place it in modules, or extract and paste it in your module folder. Yes to all, I have no idea where you got these troubles. Very simple.

    However, original idea is do more difficult get high level armies, you need more time (and training) for it. It do player love more his/her troops.
    I like the original idea. It makes battles more decisive. Makes you really think "can I really take on this army?", "if so how much will I lose?", etc. :smile:

    No, there are specific shields for using your banner. So, you have to have that.

    There is pictish naked armor or something like that. You could steal it off of your companions.  :smile:

    Playing as a mercenary it seems you get called a lord instead of a mercenary, also I can not find where my payment option is, other than the initial payment.  :neutral:

    Not sure how the mercenary system actually works so I am not sure if this is a bug or not.


    Playing a duel mounted when you kill the lord's horse it goes into slow motion and stays in the zoomed out view for so long that I cannot see what is happening in the actual duel (I actually lost the duel because of it).

    They have similar quests like at the old roman ruins. Where you kill slavers and slaver chief. You take his gear and that of his captain and such.

    I think the pay is great! You get about 1000 or so for tracking down and destroying a simple warband attacking travelers.  Though, I will agree the payouts for things like escorting a caravan are considerably low. However, I make most of my cash destroying Franks, Dena Raiders, and so on (I also love the troops I free). I make a considerable amount of money doing so. There are other ways to make cash such as investing in land or a franchise in town. :smile:

    I actually do not think money should be easily made anyway. I am no historian, but I really doubt it was easy to make large sums of cash back then.
