    [1.5.6) What are the most profitable workshops?

    I feel it would be better if workshops were generally really profitable (say ~500 dosh a day) but every month or two nag the players with problems that needs to be dealth with to keep the denari rolling. Stuff like a local gangleader demanding protection money, caravans carrying their goods or supplies getting hassled by bandits etc etc. A quest the player can solve by riding in and slapping fools with a sword, to restore the workshop to profitability. Something more interactive than just buying the workshop and then leaving it forever to give some gold a day.

    One of the warband mods has a mechanic similiar to this but for fiefs.

    I have some healdic knights and some knights of akathos. If i remember correctly its 20 heraldic knights and 3 of the akathos knights.
    Edit: gave my 20 healdic knights the boot and then whent and fought some imperial fella (was rather hard whitout my cavalry) and it worked, no CTD so thanks a lot.

    I'm having a problem that wasen't evident in the beggining of the game but has come up now (around game day 179 I think).
    whitich is when I in the campaign initate a fight on my own I get a CTD around 20 seconds into the fight. But using custom battels or joining battels already in progress dosen't cause this. I've tried most of the options avaible (changed rgl_config.txt started running it in windoed mode turned of in batte dueling becuase the CTD happend when the duel was resolved) and some more) but it is still happening whitch is a quite a pain. any help as of what it is that causes this?
    still a nice mod by the way.

    Edit: scrath that now it still crashes if I join a battle in progress :sad:. but still dosen't crash during duels.
    Edit2: trying scaling down battle resizer but it still crashes.

    How about being able to build brothels that give a little prosperity and a little publik realtions and the main use of these is thay they increase the moral of the garrison. oh and since proper birth control didn't exist yet it should probably give a boost to population growth.
    Also I'm a bit lazy at moment so Instead of writhing myself in the suggest random events thread about a idea I got I'm just going to dump it here and see if anybody decides to pick it up.

    Prisoner revolts incase your party has more prisoners then able bodied soldiers. (increase chanche further incase you got a captured lord whit high renown to lead the revolt).

    First I'd like to say that to the kidnapped Lady event written by a former poster I think the option of not doing anything and leaving her to her fate should (or have % chance of) that the lady becomes a bandit queen whit a large army of though bandits and outlaws that comes to hunt your abandoning ass down.

    As for my own idea:

    You find a man/woman stuck in a trap hole whitch claims that s/he is a citizen of closest village or town was trapped and s/he has been sitting her for a couple of hours. s/he claims slavers/bandits trapped him but it could just aswell be law enforcment:

    Option #1: help him up.
    likley result: s/he thanks you and walks on his merry way. (you gain a little renown and a little honor) + realations whit city s/he said s/he was from.
    (Im just going to write him and he now because writting s/he and him/her is a pain in the ass)
    Less likley result:When you try to help him up you are ambushed by slavers because this was a trap. (fight some slavers and get loot)

    Option #2: help him up and give him some food and a soldier to escort him home.
    Result: same as option1 likley result but as an added bonus when you go to the village/town next time he's there and you can talk to him and get some gold.

    Option #3: Set a trap for the slavers whit him as bait.
    Result wait some time then fight some slavers. and then the rewad is the same as option2s but he gives you a unique/rare/good weapon/armor/horse or becomes a companion.

    Option #4: leave him because this might be a trap setup by law enforment instead.
    lose renown and a little honor and lose party morale (you appear spineless).

    Option #5(only whit very,very low honor should this be possible): Order your men to relive themselves into the hole whilst you do the same. The man drowns.
    gain renown but lose ****loads (get it?) of honor and gain some morale.

    Option #6 help him up and take him prisonerand drag him infront of the village elder/guild master in case the trap was set by lawenforcment..
    result: he becomes your prisoner until you ride into the town where there will be a % chance of they saying that he was guily of something and giving you gold (his bounty) + relations and some renown. or the will say that he's and innocent man and take him from you and you lose realtions. also if you sell him to ransom broker in some other town you lose honor.
