I'm pretty sure it's the server. When playing in a full party we all drop at the same time.

As shotgun says. We disbanded 1 or 2 years ago. But another group of players has taken on the name.

I'm sure other regiments carried on after Waterloo, but I can't even remember who was in charge of them all back then.

95th too and it was after Waterloo. All the ingame regiments created in MM Waterloo had a group of players playing as them in the event. Regiments were created specifically for one event.

The Wavre event was done to celebrate the release of MM Prussia.

92nd as much so, but their regiment name changed after the Waterloo event. They were the 45e in the event, I think. Whereas the 1er have always been the 1er.

Just reverse the argument again for why Taleworlds would want to keep a NW section open on their forums too. Both had perfectly good reasons.

The scenario we have now is just unfortunate but perfectly manageable. Not many NW players really cared about the rest of the TW forum and many regular TW forumites didn't venture into the NW section either.

I had this similar issue for a very long time, I decided to try and fix it a while ago.

I uninstalled and reupdated all my Dx goodies and made sure all my drivers were fully up to date. What I had to go with was using Dx7, no matter what I did I couldn't get it to work with Dx9.

Since then i've had a new graphics card installed, that solved the problems I had on WB and other games.

Rgl_config is located in C:\Users\User\Documents\Mount&Blade Warband.

If you want to hire a company to host a server for you then, yes.

You can always host a server yourself and run it off your computer.

Click on Napoleonic Wars at the top > Downloads > then choose where to download from (remember to download the patch too) and you should be good to go from there.

Start by double checking that your firewall is allowing warband access to the internet etc. If that doesn't work try completely disabling your firewall just to make sure.

If that doesn't work try this: My Documents > Mount&Blade Warband > rgl_config

Open up that file and look for these two lines:

use_secure_connection =
max_number_of_connections =

Try changing the use_secure_connection to 0, if it is already 0 change it to 1.
Also, what does it say your number of max connections is? Try changing the number to 5 or 6 instead.

Best thing you can do is go ahead and look up other fixes on the FSE website or, if you must, open a new thread asking for help. You may get dev assistance on there too.

The two edits usually are used to fix disconnecting during a game, however it helped me see all the servers again. Hope it helps.

True.
Using the joysticks could be interesting.. 

I imagine that aiming with the muskets will be easier, I struggle to aim precisely at long distance (during a LB for example) with a controller it would be easier.
