    Resolved [Beta 1.6.0] Transgender lords

No, it won't happen. I would constantly provoke them to "get the courage", "grow some balls", etc. if there is a 0.01% chance they can implement it and enrich Calradia with various faith(s). There is no chance, they are too afraid to hurt somebody's feelings and get unwanted attention... and are probably right to be afraid. The more I see how some "crude" performance issues are handled, the more I think this "delicate content" could really sink that ship.
they could make fake faiths, also somebody might make some mod

Fortunately for them, there is no single religious institution that will try to stop the progress... Go Calradia!?

    Resolved [Beta 1.6.0] Transgender lords

Summary: Some lords for an unknown reason, use women dress as a civilian outfit. They even have breasts, judging by their looks (yeah, I know it's just the dress model). Is that an intentional move?
How to Reproduce: I don't know, they just pop out somehow, most of the lords are alright, but some are like this. The bug was also present in 1.5.10 (if that's a bug, of course).
Have you used cheats and if so which: None
    Scene Name (if related): Irrelevant
    Media (Screenshots & Video): Screens
    Computer Specs: Irrelevant
same here, they have massive heads. i am in 1.5.9 also saw a couple bald women nobles lmao, i laughted so hard

    dead game?

I haven't played previous games I purchased this game solely based on the trailer showing absolutely cool siege scenes and the bird eye view map campaign. Can't tell you how disappointed I was when i noticed how broken AI units are in sieges, how little there is for strategical depth in the campaign and that, the multiplayer.. is no more than a slow barebone team deathmatch. Even the "siege" is just TDM but with capture points.

Imagine if the multiplayer was done in the campagn map with player run settlements controlling huge ai armies. now that would be something unique to this game.
there is a mod for that tho, now granted would be epic to have it in the base game

Contrary to the wet dreams of many SP people, giant campaign with all lords are players is not going to be fun unless you are one of the people who enjoy spending 20 hours a day building up their skill, wealth, and money.

Anyone who thinks server running 24/7 on a big campaign map where everyone can just play is going to be fun, are living a dream in an twisted fantasy.

The only closest thing you will get to this is persistent world mods who don't use giant armies and relies on a very much faster grind and dynamic to make people who don't want to spend 20h a day have fun.

Just stop with these threads, if you are really interested and not lonely, they have been done several times before - hit the search button.
You are also encouraging autistic people to share their thoughts which is never a good idea since they are not interested in anyone else's opinion.
oi mate why don't you better **** off?
honestly how dumb can you be? this is a suggestion forum for a reason, so let me suggest.
you clearly hate the game cause you cant get sturgian vassal *****.

thanks this is exactly what i wanted  legend

    weapon and armor durability?

That sounds awful. An annoying gameplay mechanic to force use of an optional, separate game mechanic isn't a positive improvement - don't throw good design after bad.
that would make me use the crafting mechanics cause rn i don do it at all, it could have an option to autorepair or omething like that

    Late game problem (again)

Well, at least it had stateed end goals and OP guys to kill. As much as I was PoP fan, I would want to see something more interesting in the end game, a new challenge.

That checks out. Though you probably need to fast forward while doing nothing to see generations change. And there's not much support for roleplay in the game, so you must have a lot of imagination.
when im doing noyhing i roam the map seeking tourneys and trading

as a mod, it could be, but in vanilla, I do not want it. ( personally of course)
might be an option tho, like in Viking Conquest

    Late game problem (again)

What's the purpose of drawing out the game on purpose? Endless grinding? Maxing your character?
If there's a late-game challenge, it needs to have novel and interesting gameplay that's unavailable in earlier stages, not more of the same but in XXL size.
    role sake.

i dont know about you but i play this like i was role playing, i have kids my main dies my kids get my empire then my kids die some may become traitors and so on...

know what would be even cooler? to have succession lines for fiefs.
  16. Mailord

    Late game problem (again)

I'll say it again - the game currently has a very big late game problem (I'm not the first and I'm not the last to say this).

But in this case, I did a big experiment. I usually finish a game in 16 playable years, but this time I played as much of the game as possible.
And so I made the following conclusions:
    1. After I got 10 clans of 5 tier with 3 combat members - the game becomes NOT interesting, because your 10 clans conquer Kalradia by themselves, without you.
    2. The only moment that requires your direct participation is when your kingdom begins to dominate and ALL kingdoms simultaneously declare war on you.
    3. The situation with total wars is solved simply - by this moment you should have 30k of influence (I had), and you force your clans to make peace with the most powerful kingdoms (in my case, these are Vlandia, Aserai and Khuzait), in order to FAST defeat weaker kingdoms. After that, I only allow the war against one strong kingdom. And so one by one.
    4. You have a choice, either entice other nobles or execute them. I had a super economy and almost maximum charisma - that's why I poached ALL lords. I could have executed them, but I'm not a maniac (and coz enemy nobles cannot execute me, so I did it honestly).
    5. Therefore, when I got 10 strong clans, at that moment the active games ended altogether. Completely. I have not fought a single battle (besides protecting my clan's fiefs - coz I need economics and influence), I have not captured a single fief. I just ran around the global map, killed marauders in solo...

...and experimented with bugs and exploits, and I waited for HOW long time my clans to take over the world.
As soon as my clans captured all the fiefs of another kingdom, I made peace with them and lured the nobles to me...
...and kept killing marauders, testing bugs and exploits and studying what my clans would do.

Without my active participation, it took my clans 5 years to take over the whole world (5 years after my clans conquered Vlandia - this was the biggest problem throughout the game, this is the only kingdom that caused problems and was a threat. Vlandia couldn't kill my army, but they kept giving critical damage to my army as I defended my fiefs - coz crossbowmens+banerknights are terrible, especially when their 2.5-3k army - it took a long time to recover the troops after each battle, but I took care of this in advance and I had large garrisons).

    and so, let me summarize:

    I still think that:
we need to stop the forge printing money
we need to make a limit on the clan adding
we need to allow enemy nobles to execute the MC if he executes the nobles

the player will always be smarter than the AI, the player will always win the AI, this is a game and it is made so that the player wins, but after the player understands HOW to win (and this is already a late game), it becomes NOT interesting and too EASY to play

    so we need an invasion

the invasion can be in the main game or in the DLC, it doesn't matter - the main thing is that this invasion happens
because with the invasion you CANNOT make peace, you CANNOT lure the nobles (that's how I see it) - and this will be the final boss, a good end of the game, a good victory... if the player can

P.S. anyway it was a good gaming experience, anyway this game will give the players a lot of fun, which is good (y)

this is why we need dead kingdoms to resurrect, or add treason so your nobles try to kill you or take half your empire or something like that, the game would run forever

    Add Stamina

Too much realism could kill the spirit of this game. I personally do no like the idea of stamina in M&B series
warband VC had it and it was amazing tbh

Ide like stamina too, but for some reason people prefer having infinite energy so they can swing spam without worrying about it. Fatigue is an important part of fighting and physical fitness of your character should be a huge consideration in combat. Swinging a 2handed heavy weapon should be more taxing compared to swinging a 1handed sword. You shouldnt be able to hold a shield up forever without your arms getting tired either.

    autoquote

One way to improve what I have already proposed could be this:
instead of a stamina bar (which would symbolize power, that is energy in the unit of time) there would be an energy bar (therefore a quantity of total energy).
This bar does not limit you in the number of attacks and empties as you attack during battle and while RUNNING FAST.
The emptying for the stroke is proportional to the weight equipped.
So it empties slowly, very slowly.

What does the emptying of this energy bar entail?
A slower recharge of posture and a decrease in the maximum movement speed, that is the speed you get if you don't fight and run for 2-3 seconds, which is greater than when you are "in combat mode ".

This energy is recovered so slowly over time that it is useful to consider this recovery only during long battles, with many men and who need to run a lot or who are heavily equipped and chasing archers .

So what does this all mean?
    1) in combat 1 VS 1 for a short time: no significant differences will be noticed compared to what I have already written.
    2) in combat 1 VS 1 for a long time: over time the two characters will consume energy and slow down the recovery of posture, therefore both will become slower in the attacks (although the ability to deflect the opponent's blows allows one to gain advantage over the other).
    3) in combat 1 VS many over time: initially you are fresh and rested and you can quickly attack anyone, but over time you become slower and more important is your ability to defend yourself than to attack.
    4) combat between many and many over time with various situations:
heavy infantry with shields chasing archers:
They run, run, tire and therefore become slower in moving, but also in attacking (although they do not have a limit on the number of attacks).
If they rest for a few minutes, they recover some of their energy and come back fresher and faster. (acts as the energy bar of a total war regarding fatigue).

To slow down the shield infantry further you can read my thread, "shields + prejectiles = encumbrance"
you nailing it mate i wish devs would read this

    weapon and armor durability?

what about weapon durability? that would force me to use the forge i dont use the forge at all, but if my weapons and armor needed maintenance i would be forced to use it... maybe make it some way that swords edge gets chipped after battle or something (not during battle cause that would annoy...
  19. Mailord

    Add Stamina

not stamina, but A POSTURE SYSTEM, like in sekiro, but with the directional defense of bannerlord.
More posture you lose, less faster you will attack.
This will prevent spam and give you the opportunity to responde faster.
see people, this is how you do things, don't agree with me? make it better.

you are a legend that would be awesome, thanks for your comment.
