    Why don't you just not use them??
    I tried to. I did, but then I accidentally press "U" instead of "O" (to borrow arrows), and another time I accidentally used warcry by pressing God-knows-what. Ever since I felt like cheating the game and lost interest, and finally deleted the whole save file itself. Cheating a game always makes me lose interest in continuing.
    It doesn't need to be removed elegantly. If pressing U gives an error message without any effect, that will be enough for me.

    Hi, could you please guide me through the process of disabling the healing combat abilities? I have been messing with the mission_template file for weeks now but always ended up with a broken game. The abilities work as intended, surely, but they are just too unbalanced in favor of the player for my OCD.

    Is there a tweak to limit the number of uses for elixirs, like for example 10 times? Something that can make the 11th time exchanging Qualis Gem for elixir result in a zero increase? (while the idea of unlimited Qualis-elixir making an OP character sounds tempting, I'm looking for a more... vanilla experience with an obligation to delegate more party skills and roles among companions).

    (Also female faces used in some previous versions made all the women look the same... Anyway, it is possible to change faces to those of your liking. With some tinkering.)
    Ah, the savior of my love life and plastic surgeon of my wife's. Please tell me how to integrate female faces from Perisno mod to ACOK without changing the male head mesh. I'm not so confident in dabbling with those brf and py files myself :sad:

    By the way, another point for possible improvement I came across is about arena melee fight. Most of the times, I was hit with something by someone right after spawning in the arena. This is due to either the arena is too small or the spawn points are too close to one another. I tested the arena in The Planky Town where I stand nearly at the center and swing my sword right at the moment a new combatant is spawned. With power strike 9, I can knock 80% of everyone out in one strike right after they are spawned without enough time to raise their shield for defense, ending 35-40 opponents in around 4-5 minutes. It feels kind of cheap for a quick and easy 250 silver stags and a bunch of proficiency.
  7. SP Fantasy (Game of Thrones) A Clash of Kings (7.0 released 13th of May, 2019)

    The town and village scenes in this mod are phenomenal. There are occasions in which I feel like playing an open-world game instead of a sandbox battle-instance game. A lot a work a attention to details were invested here. Now I can no longer go back to other mods because of how small their cities layouts are.

    A couple of points for improvement:
    1. About the new one-handed weapon standing animation, when standing still for a minute with the sword drawn, it changes character into a stance which the player points his weapon at 60 degree to the ground and therefore clips through the ground, especially apparent for bastard swords.
    2. The new two-handed weapon running animation looks wanky as the character grinds his blade against his neck and shoulder as he runs.
    3. About the new bow standing animation, after the bow is drawn and standing still for 1 minute, the character pull the bow much closer to his chest that it clips halfway through his body.
    4. Tournaments should limit the number of companions as participants. As of 7.1, having more companions makes tournaments feel like cheating because no other high-leveled lords can participate.
    5. The "asthetics" of native female heads makes marriage a tough idea to swallow.

    Hey guys! I haven't been here in a really long time! I'm trying the mod after a year maybe? and I'm thrilled with all the new and renewed features.. but i'm having a lot of issues with this mod specifically.

    1st of all, I'm getting a lot of white weird things on the groud on battle and in towns/castles, What is this? is it a bug? or a feature i'm not aware of?

    Also, every time i'm on the campaing map, everything freezes for a second when I try to do an action, move around, enter a town, engage in battle, is really slow.

    Another thing is that whenever I go to the battle map,I can see the models of the cities and characters without texture, everything freezes and then the textures load.

    I have been playing and using mods on warband for years, I have the latest version of the game and the mod, this is the only mod where I'm having this issues. What are they related to and how can I fix this?

    Also I have an Intel core I7, 8gb corsair ram, and a radeon rx 480 - 8gb.
    I have the exact problem with this mod downloaded from moddb, version 5.3 as well, and also lags everytime entering world map and sometimes click on world map icons such as characters/inventory causes game to freeze for 2-3 seconds. This much lagging renders the game unplayable for me. Is this also a corrupted download or a mod problem?

    Beside that, I really love the huge map this mod has!

    As far as I know. You can't change the map without the source code and plenty of issues with city placement, spawn locations, areas causing parties to get stuck, etc.
    Theoretically, if I only expand the area north of Ravenstern, east of Larian forest, south of D'Shar desert and adding some island west of Fierdsvain coast while leaving the existing area untouched, will there be the same problems?

    Thank you, I tried mixing lines in mission_templates between Perisno and Perisno New Beginning (which is exactly my goal for Perisno in term of combat abilities) with NotePad++, but it has not worked so far. The way this game loads battle instances is more complicated than I thought.

    Yes, I have the willpower to disable them, and I'm eager to learn the steps to do so. If you don't mind giving me a bit of directions, sir, which software do I need to open the files containing combat abilities? And also, which one is that file? Is it the "change_troop_health -1" line in the script.txt file?

    1) Oh I tried searching the Q&A but could not find the answer. Sorry that I forgot posting in that thread, though.
    2) Well, humans tend to utilize any means at hand to solve their problems. I can try to impose a self-rule to not using the abilities under normal circumstances, but in a desperate situation like facing enemies 20 times stronger than me, I may resort to taking the easy way out at that moment, an action which will make me regret later because of the guilt of cheating. Either that or I just "accidentally" press that U or Y in my panic and then feel ashamed of myself.
    Analogously speaking, if Perisno has a merchant that sells every items, even unique weapons, for a cheap price, it kills off a chunk of excitement even if I swear not to buy from that merchant. The theoretical fact that such merchant even exists is a depreciation to the game, just like these healing abilities.

    So from your reply, I guess the answer is "impossible for now"?

    First, I'm not sure if this is a bug, but it seems manface_white2_1 head texture uses the same black body texture with manface_black1, creating a conspicuous seam between the former head and body. Second, Sidhethon (or something like that, the Geldar claimant) has his dialogue outcome bugged for an elf game start. Third, elvish leather hat's icon and some other hat's icons are upside down in the menu.

    These legendary replacements are beautiful and have a "unique" feel about them. Does this mod still work for Perisno v0.99 though?

    Edit: I've managed to get it working with Perisno 0.99, but the Skyfall mesh seems too big that it creates massive clipping with the character's gloves. This may be due to an effort to make its length similar to the original Skyfall (145 reach). I tested rescaling it down to 90% and decreasing its reach to 130 to make its hilt size comparable to the rest of Perisno's weaponry. The result is quite aggreeable.
