    No screenshot because all I would have is the screenshot showing the current reduced values since I didn't expect the game to reset the values, hence no screenshot of the before.
    In addition, giving specific numerical values should be enough for the dev team to see that there is possibly an issue and work to recreate it, which should be pretty easy for them since all they have to do is craft a weapon that gets fine, masterwork, or legendary stat boosts, save and reload, and see if those stat boosts reset.


    If they can replicate it simply, that confirms it's most likely wide-spread.

  3. Tournament balance

    100% Agree with OP.

    The tournaments are enough of a joke at this point with these changes that it honestly seems like a waste of resources to include them at all.

    Instead, add some weight and rarity to the tournaments.

    1) Increase either the amount you can bet, or the payout ratio, or allow us to set our own via in-game settings.
    2) The rewards for the tournaments need to be elevated so that the reward value is a minimum of 500.
    3) Decrease the frequency of tournaments. At any point I have 2 tournaments in close proximity. I should either have to travel long distances, or wait until another tournament opens up. No more than 2 tournaments per kingdom, per week.
    4) Offer an invitation only grand tournament every quarter where the prize pool is doubled (or something exceedingly rare is offered), but it's comprised of previous tournament winners and named opponents, essentially increasing the difficulty.
    5) As you win more tournaments, that should decrease your payout ratio since you're you're more likely to win than a nameless opponent. This would eventually return to normal after you have skipped a few tournaments. This would only impact betting. Tournament rewards would be unaffected.

    Tournaments should be rewarding, but not a sole source to support your army.
  4. Question about planted spears...

    That's true it could be taxing, but I'm saying just initiate the counts when determining if there is a hit. Mind you I have not gotten into the code myself to see what's going on, so I understand if my suggestions are inefficient. Working on 3 websites right now, along with classes starting back up, and maintining my full-time job. M&B is my escape from a sea of code, or from just a taxing day altogether. Perhaps some day in the future I can start modding again, but alas, life sometimes gets in the way of itself.

    Ok, that make sense. At least knowing how the code works lets you know how to work around it.

    Question though...

    If game has not concept of direction of travel, maybe there's another method.

    For instance:

    1. At point of impact, the system does 2 counts (within microseconds) and calculates distance between spear (or point of impact) and target.
    2. If count 1 > count 2, apply damage. If count 1 < count 2 disregard.

    This may not eliminate damage while flanking, but it should make the spearwall less impervious to all cavalry attacks.

    When infantry plants their spears for defense against again cavalry, is it supposed to be 360 degree around the unit? I have tried to flank and attack from 6 o'clock, both ways gets my horse killed. It's just kind of frustrating when a spear line is facing away from me, I try to take out a few...
