  1. Paid double for a buggy game and feeling like a stupid now!

OP has a point, the game was released in EA for a AA(A) price. I have paid 40 Euros. When I read the EA description before I bought the game it sounded like the EA was in a good state. They said the single player "campaign" was almost fully there. As many others I don't care about bugs and crashes in EA, but I do care about missing features. The "campaign" is not working and also any other part of single player isn't properly working because you cannot properly make peace, let alone alliances, nor can can you direct your parties. That's all okay for an EA game but if you want to be fair you shouldn't put a full price tag on it. And if Epic now gives the game away for half the price for their loss, it just adds salt in the wound.
  2. You're not the king of your kingdom

Talking about historical accuracy is very interesting but considering the fact that your vassals are stupid and suicidal, it is completely pointless. If they were more intelligent, they should have more influence. But since they just go on suicide missions, don't defend their thiefs and bring war after war upon you, it is necessary to be able to overrule them as a king to have any kind of reasonable late game.
  3. Almost two months into EA. Satisfied?

Well, I'm disappointed by the state of the game at release and by the updates. When I read the EA description it seemed that most of the single player experience was already in the game and that just some placeholders and minor features were missing. The campaign can hardly be called a campaign at the moment. Nothing fits together (brother, siblings which need to be rescued?) and the conspiracy quest just breaks the whole late game, if you want to have your own kingdom. I can understand that balancing needs to be done throughout the entirety of EA, but I cannot understand that critical and very simple features like peace negotiations and alliances are missing. Since I'm not interested in multiplayer and being a vassal, the game is pretty much unplayable for me in its current state. There have been enough threads about late game whack-a-mole so I won't go in depths here. It is nice that they are trying to make playing possible for everyone but if all you do in the first two months of your supposedly one year EA is bug fixing to make the game playable at all, then it obviously shouldn't have been released into EA yet. The fact that apparently the game already has almost all of the intended features in the eyes of the Devs and that 1/6th of the EA has already passed makes me very skeptical about the amount of content at release. The battles are fun and the game definitely has its appeal but if it's not gonna be fleshed out much more, it is kind of a rip-off. And saying that mods will fix everything is fine and dandy but that takes even more time and Devs shouldn't rely on it and it shouldn't be an excuse to release a shallow game.
  4. End Game or would it be Whac-A-Mole?

I made my own kingdom and it was exactly the same for me, so I also had to install the Fix Diplomacy mod.
Otherwise I wouldn't have gotten anywhere and playing further would have been completely pointless. It is a huge issue for me that I cannot give any commands to my vassals or parties because it means that I have basically only one army (the one I lead myself) vs. all of Calradia. Vassal armies unfortunately only do stupid things and are only good for reinforcing my own army...
  5. Patch Notes e1.1.1 & Beta Hotfix

The beta experienced some issues with the town economy. That was fixed. Live/Main did not suffer these issues.

I see, thanks a lot! Gonna check out the new main brand patch tomorrow, then!

Are my previous saves compatible or do I have to start a new campaign? Thanks and keep up the good work!
  6. Patch Notes e1.1.1 & Beta Hotfix

Is the economy in the latest patch of the main version fixed again or is it only fixed in the beta branch? Thanks in advance, I'm getting really confused with all the different versions...
  7. Resolved Trade screen crashing

exactly the same issue, yesterday I could play without problems. I started the game today and whenever I try to click a "done" or "cancel" button in any kind of menu the game crashes to desktop. I also cannot send any crash reports anymore when before it mostly worked. I tried of course to verify game files, safe mode and restarted my pc, nothing worked.
  8. [BUGS] - A place to report bugs to prevent duplicate posts

Game crashes every time I try to exit the trade or inventory menu by clicking the done button. It didn't start until about 3 hours in.

same here, the cancel button is also affected.
  9. Game freezes everytime I press 'Done' on the trading menu screen, bug report also resulted in error

Same for me. Sadly, I noticed this place for bug reports too late, so I posted an extensive report elsewhere. Incidentally, it's not just the "Done" but also the "Cancel" button that does this for me. Only tested from settlement trade screens.

yes, I forgot, my "cancel" button also crashes the game. so basically the game is unplayable right now.
  10. Game crashed everytime I click "DONE" button in game.
