  1. I'll do myself a favor and shelve the game until it goes out of EA

If buying the game for its discount/to support it and shelving it instantly had been all you did, this excuse would make sense, but you bought into Bannerlord EA with a HISTORY of having been affected negatively by EA development phases, knowing that constant issues and constantly updated builds are something that ruin your enjoyment of the game. Then you got frustrated and took to the forums to make sure everyone knows that you're gonna stop playing it until it's officially released??? Ok? You did that to yourself, man.
mate, just calm down, come down off the desk, have a deep breath and enjoy your day.

no idea what did I do to make you this angry. I am happy. I've played to my heart's content, I dont want to be burnt out. I can wait. I know what I feel, you don't.

Just do your thing, I will do mine.
  2. I'll do myself a favor and shelve the game until it goes out of EA

Imagine knowing that you really hate testing games and then being so dense you decide to buy an unfinished game

If you know EA testing ruins the enjoyment of a game for you...then DON'T BUY IT IN EARLY ACCESS

pssst... hey mate.... discount + supporting a promising project
calling the kettle dense aint we
  3. I'll do myself a favor and shelve the game until it goes out of EA

Under normal circumstances I would agree, but these are not normal circumstances. After a few weeks of lockdown I was very happy to see Bannerlord released, even if it is early access and full of bugs. There's only a limited number of TV series worth watching. Perfect timing for an early access release.
Ah, that's one problem. There's nothing much around that interests me game wise so I'm kinda stuck myself with a game I just decided not to play for a while...
  4. I'll do myself a favor and shelve the game until it goes out of EA

Uhm, the forest bandits I'd say... then the XP, the unclear allotment of fiefs, uh and the companion disappearing on Ain Batr or whatsitsname, that drew me insane. The repetitiveness of missions in villages, a bug that broke my last save which stuck me in siege mode without me being able to move while a 0 garrison city pelted me via ghost manned siege machines... well there are a few.
The fact that now there's a beta version will only complicate things further, so i guess this is a good moment to leave. i still have a good feeling and a bit of appetite left for the game.
  5. I'll do myself a favor and shelve the game until it goes out of EA

I only played another unfinished game before this one. I used to be a beta tester for Mechwarrior Online. I was excited to be a beta tester for Mechwarrior, as I used to be a Battletech fan. The fact that it was broken (because -duh- it was in beta) frustrated me so much that i didnt want to...
  6. The desert location is too strong (1 dimensional strategy)

    granted it's a bit crowded
  7. The desert location is too strong (1 dimensional strategy)

I wish this would be a problem, it would mean that garrisons in forts would be active rather than passive
  8. Stuck in broken seige mode

It happened something similar to me yesterday, patch 1.0.10
I was besieging a town when the defenders sallied out. I won the battle and killed them all, but then i got stuck outside inside the tents without the possibility of doing anything. Moreover, the city defenses kept pelting me even though there was no one left in the city to man them.
  9. Gang turf battle is basically unwinnable without cheese

I also thought that moving units to the top of the list would make them the choice for hideout/turf war, but in reality it seems to be a % of the composition of your troops.
  10. Resolved Archers not firing

I found this happens if you move them with selecting them with the key 2, then moving them around with the mouse: even though you pressed right mouse\esc\whatever it's as if they're frozen waiting for some other command. I usually walk around it by selecting another unit (typically i command the cavalry to follow me)
  11. (SAME) Faction troops in Faction armies [WOULD MAKE SENSE]

Without going on historical overtures, I would simply be happier if you could recruit them more easily if you capture them.
  12. [Shield] Directional Blocking

Large shields are both more convenient but also a liability. Sure you can parry 3 every 4 strikes even if you don't position it correctly sidewise, but if you dont cheese the game running in circles like a demented NASCAR car it's pretty complicated trying having a melee contest without seeing your enemy and the direction of the blows. It's a fair tradeoff i think.
  13. -300 Influence after raiding a village

That cant be right. Enemy commanders raid villages like nothing, they cant be bearing any penalty higher than -10
  14. New strange issue: convinced enemy Army leader to defect during pre-battle parley, started battle first leader goes back as an enemy

I already posted it in the bug section, though I am curious to see if someone else has encountered an issue like this. Faced off a whole 300+ men strong, several unit army against my 100 unit. I decide to convince the Army leader to defect and somehow manage to; thus I need to speak with...
  15. Resolved Convinced enemy Army leader to defect during pre battle parley, got to speak with the second leader, started battle first leader got back as an enemy

As per title. I managed to convince an enemy army leader (with 6 or so other groups within his army) to join me, then I couldn't do the same to the next in command as it was their King. I am sure the second army had defected to me though, i could see it in my roster and men count, but as the...
  16. Why did they lower the tournament stuff?

Basically it's an effort to contrast save scumming.

    But:
    1) Mount and Blade is a game that provides saving, thus save scumming is embedded in the system
    2) Player time is the most precious resource there is. If I want to invest 1 3 5 10 hours of MY time in something such as reloading it's my choice. Making it less interesting solves a problem that isn't there, it's like cutting your own testicles to get back to your wife.
  17. How do I refuse a fief?

You can try and barter it to another noble with something else
  18. Companions stuck in 'Holding'

Just search "Ain Baliq" on the forum and you should find a trove of threads just like yours. Pile on with your experience on the bug report.
  19. how do i complete the train troops quest?

In order to solve this quest, you only need at least 6 trained troops. once you hit 6, kick the others out the party. As soon as you that, you should get a prompt that asks you if you want to send the trained troops back, just say yes. The easiest way to train those troops is autoresolve, or if you like fighting your battles, assign these troops to a specific number (Party page key P, the roman number next to the troop, default 1) and send them on alone to fight looters while you loiter in the back, if there are a bit too many send some else to assist.

Should you fail this quest, don't toss the trained troop away, because you can keep them for another quest of the same kind in another village.
  20. Resolved Companion HOLDING Bug

She is physically there. The clan tab tells me she is travelling to that castle. Meanwhile she just keeps getting pregnant and having kids.
nevermind what tabs tell you. Can you meet her?
