  1. Resolved Corrupt Save?

    Im curious what type of bug causing crashes like this? It doesnt depends on file size, and surely not on progressing (quest, etc).
    The only solution is that the game does something wrong with the saving. Maybe a slow filling buffer or memory leak, written into the save, causing the crash (like you always multiply the nr of the AIs on the map, sooner or later it will crash)
    Its a bad news then, because if they fix the bug, the currupt save will remains in the same state.

  3. Major graphics lag/spikes

    In the siege i found out what causing the massive lag for 1-2 min. Its the AI attacking the main gate (after the siege weapon destroyed the 1st gate) in mellee. After the secod gate opened, was all good again. I guess the door stucture, or the particles makes this.

    And what if you never overwrite the saves? only creating new ones. No quicksave, just new save. Maybe it works that way.
    I guess the ppl is here because we all reloded the tournament so many times :grin:

    As mentioned earlier in this thread, you get this crash becouse your old 1.0.0 save file has loaded a bug that since later have been patched,this creates a paradox which the computer can't compute with and you crash, hench why you crashed after you re saved it to a 1.0.1 save or even later.
    Ssadly, as far as I know there is no way to recover this. I had the same issue with a 35+hour save but had to start over.

    However there is nothing to say this won't happen in the future with similar bugs that do get patched, we caan only hope and not get to attacched to our saves.

    1.0.2 is still has this bug, related to that Steam discussion. If you start from the beginning, your 45+s saves will be corrupt

    Im sure its because of the increasing file size. I started a different game line from an earlier "safe save", and the crash happened again aroun the same progress (i did not any quest this time, i won 1 tournament tho). It seems abouve 50Mb the game become unstable?
    IDK really :S

    I managed to load a bit older save (which is 16h old atm), but if i save it, and trying to load, the game crashes again.
    Either way im unable to play...
