  1. Need More Info massive FPS drop in battles

I encounter the same issues. I can't play the game in campaign or multiplayer no matter what are the graphical sets, resolution or resolution scale.
Campaign map runs "smoothly" most of the time except a few freeze/fps drop there and there but as soon as I go in a battle or a village/town it is absolutely unplayable. I've tried everything I had in mind without any good result, might work for you :
    - Lowering graphics, resolution scale, resolution itself
    - Disabled enhanced noises (Windows control panel -> sound -> headset -> enhancements -> disable enhanced noises)
    - Cleaning my RAM cache and processes
    - Put the value of the process to High
    - Launched steam without webhelpservice.exe (integrated steam browser)
However custom battles seem to work fine (just micro-freezes at the beginning like it is loading the troops) up to 200vs200.
Here is my rig, we share the same GPU :
    - W10
    - i5 4460 Quad Core 3,2 GHz
    - GTX 1060 6GB
    - 8GB of RAM

I think this might be memory leaks issues combined with GPU issues, a lot of people with GTX 10... series have issues.
  2. Need More Info Massive frame drops in campaign

You guys need to get more ram when I had 8gb ram it was unplayable for me too but now I bought like 16gb more and it runs smooth on very high with my i5-8300h 1050 and 24 gb ram (16gb minimum I think)

I have indeed ordered a brand new pair of 16GB of RAM for my rig, I should receive it next week.
On the other hand, I must warn you if you use 24GB of RAM for gaming, it is not a good thing.
You may experience performance issues for gaming (don't ask me what is the maths behind it can't answer it), 24GB of RAM set-ups are used for rendering videos, rending 3D stuff etc...

Here is my rig, which is quite similar to yours :
    - W10
    - i5 4460 Quad Core 3,2 GHz
    - GTX 1060 6GB
    - 8GB of RAM
  4. Major graphics lag/spikes

@fomnus we are working on optimization as well as crash and bug fixes. However, given the broad range of systems, I cannot reliably say if or how much you will benefit from the first couple of optimization changes.

Thanks for the answer! I'm glad to know these issues are taken into consideration
Do you know when approximately a patch could be released? No need for a specific day of course, just approximately if it is gonna be in 1 week or a couple of weeks or even more.
  5. Need More Info Lagging, especially in battles.

I already checked in the morning, nothing helped me tho
On the other hand lads, I think many of us with 8GB of RAM are upgrading them to 16GB due to those memory leaks or whatever it is.
At least that's a good point xD
  6. Need More Info Lagging, especially in battles.

If you dint mind can you tell me what you did to have like constant fps and your graphical settings?

I was in Medium, with High settings it was lagging more randomly.
Other than that I did not touch to anything else.

But they posted 8 gb ram as recommended requirements so they should deliver it and btw are u using hdd?

Yes I am using a HDD, I have no SSD (all the money went into the GTX 1060 and now a new set of 16GB of RAM ahaha).

I have the exact same specs as you instead of gtx 1060 i got a 980 ti and for me its pretty bad the lag and stuttering and one thing how much was the fps in the 200v200?

I can't tell for the 200v200 fps, I limited it to 60 but I can tell you it was constant so probably 60 FPS.
Since we have the same specs except for the GPU, I guess this removes the GPU as being the cause of the problem.

So I think it has something to do with the RAM, I've wandered on many forums and threads and most people with 8GB of RAM have issues.
There must be some memory leaks issues + the fact we are on the edge with our low RAM amount.
I guess in 2020 having 8GB of RAM for gaming is not a thing to have, 16GB is now essential.
