This is common for a lot of us right now. There is a lot of speculation that it comes after loading a game over 45 times or just due to a general buggy interaction. The only 'fix' is just to start a new save. I've abandoned my 20+ hr save and am hoping that a patch may fix it. Either way, it's early access so I doubt our saves will be salvageable...

Yeah, that's the exact same as me. I was happy enough starting fresh when my 5-hour campaign became corrupted but 20+ hours is a different story...At this point, as much as I love the game, I'll likely wait for a confirmed fix before I pick it up again. Fingers crossed, my save will survive.

True, this seems like the biggest issue though.

It does not seem to. No matter what you do (overwrite existing files, delete files, make new files), you can only press that save button so many times before the game stops loading new saves.

It might not be the patch. It seems any playthrough can only be saved so many times before the saves eventually all become corrupted. Some players report this limit is 45 saves - that's all you get atm. You might just have hit this limit right after patch.

Does deleting the saves help?
