    I don't think FSR and Resolution scaling are the same thing.
    He is not saying that they are the same thing. He is saying that when you lower your resolution scale, the image gets upscaled to your selected screen resolution with FSR.

    Oh, because there was another band of looters nearby they did the thing were combined it wasn't a bad fight and decided to fight the caravan. Alright, I understand that, but shouldn't the caravan AI decide to try running away when there were two looter bands trying to attack? Looters would only try to attack if they are stronger than the caravan, no? And that means the caravan should feel threatened or try to run away?

    Or does it depend if the caravan has enough scouting to actually see that there's 2 bands of looters instead of just one, and it misjudged the threat?
    The caravan was still more powerful than both looter parties combined though. The power of 43 looters equals 23 while the caravan's power level would be 33 if we were to assume it's every troop is a tier 3 footman.

    I "think" bandits have increased aggressiveness towards caravans so even when the odds are against them they can still attack them. This was done because otherwise, bandits were never a threat to the caravans. Read this:

    I think this situation is not a good design because caravans are currently obviously OP and player has no fear of losing them. This results in caravans to be a stable game element. There are nearly none caravan involved battle in map and this create lack of variety. I want to make caravans more desired targets so that bandits and minor mercenary faction lords (which player is in war with) will attack caravans even they are a bit weaker compared to it or even they are a bit far. So this will result in losing your caravan time to time (more than current situation). Of course this should not be very common. In average once in a year player can lose his/her caravan.

    Also, I feel like scouting or seeing range doesn't have any effect on AI parties fleeing behavior. They all seem to start to flee from the same range.

    What the **** was that? It didn't even try zigzagging back or anything, it straight up just walked into the looters. What? Is their AI broken?
    Caravan ignored looters because they were weaker but sometimes bandits can make suicide attacks on caravans.

    "Last throwable weapon stay as a melee weapon" was added later in EA process afaik. Not a bug imo.
    No, that's not the reason.

    There is this code that checks if the weapon has the NotStackable tag and if it does, prevents the AI from using it as a ranged weapon.

    NotStackable tag comes from the spearhead and they start to throw their spears again if you remove it.

    Yep, that's also why the militia is that much, it starts building up fast when loyalty is low, but won't fight in a siege to help.
    I do wonder if the AI considers them as defenders while deciding if they should siege or not.

    Currently, only the Jawwal Camel Rider and the Jawwal Bedouin have camels. Normal camels and war camels, with the war camels having higher stats.

    Couldn't damage be at least partially reduced?
    That's already how it works. According to this thread, if you have a shield on your back, it adds +10 to armor if you get hit from there.

    There is also a perk at 225 crossbow skill called "Pavise" with this effect:
    Shield on your back has a 75% chance of blocking projectile damage from behind.

    For example if expected loot for tier-5 troop is 500 then 100K item drops with 0.5%
    Are you sure this is working correctly? Because I have never seen anything that valuable as loot. 0.5% is a huge chance considering that players beat dozens of tier 5 troops regularly in battles. Even with high roguery, it is very rare to find something more valuable than 3000 denars.

    I don't know how the looting system works but could it be related to that civilian equipment of troops (and heroes) are considered as possible loot and that somehow messes up with the loot we are getting?

    You can gain XP through both ways. XP gain seems to be based on item value also. It shows how much total XP you gain and how much your troops need and warns you if you exceed it.

    Agreed. I always thought current weapons were placeholders, but I suspect they might have forgotten about it by now even if they were.
