Right, then!  The Infantry Drill Manual in draft form is available for download at the Brigade Becker blog.  I invite everyone to read it and comment on it here, so I can fix what's wrong and correct obvious errors and omissions.  Please note, this is the Infantry Drill Manual; I don't know enough about cavalry in this era of warfare to even start a cavalry manual.    The link for the blog is here.

Updated to include the Regimental Regulations.  The Drill Manual will be coming out after the weekend - I have real life things this weekend but will check in late in the afternoons/evenings (that's CST zone NA) - I have some few illustrations to finish.  It will be in .pdf format on the Brigade Beckers blog which is our Regimental website.

Well, my poor recruiting sergeant is being trampled to death by all those who want to join 3. IR ... not!  Do the uniforms put you off?  The idea that we're going to fight in lines, firing by volley?  If you look around on the NW servers, you'll see several regiments who fight that way and they nearly always win ... or at least are the last bunch killed-out.    Now looking for some brave artillerymen to man the battalion guns, keeping up with the line as we move and shooting the eyes out of our enemies!  Look around on the public servers, watch the infantry scatter when they see the cavalry coming; watch them die as the artillery hammer them with case shot!  You want to die or you want to win??  If you want to win and have fun while you're doing it, JOIN THE THIRD HERD!

I updated the first post to include the table of organization for B. Kompanie, I. Batalion of The Regiment.  This will be our first company and from the first members of B. Kompanie will come the leaders of the Regiment.

I am hard at work on a Manual of Dismounted Drill, which will show the basic formations the field battalion will take, an explanation of the verbal command system and a listing and explanation of the commands as well as how to execute them.  When it's completed, the 3.Infantrie Regiment Drill Manual will be available to download from the Brigade Becker blog - nothing fancy, just right click on the document link and left click on 'save as' from the options.  I hope to have the drill itself on a single page so we can have it available during our practice meetings.
