Howdy folks, been a while.
Anyway, been getting back into 1257AD as my pc was out of action. Anyway there are a few things ive often wanted to do.
As much as i love the warfare aspect of the game, there are also times when i feel i want a rest from warring and want to help the finanical prospects of my kingdom.
The previous suggestion of controlling trade is good, but i feel like more things to help with finances and the general prospering of your kingdom needs to be added.
I was pleasantly surprised with the Constable and being able to recruit men. Perhaps if there was some more worth while buildings to be built, perhaps things like farmland/farming, Mining etc... These things can help boost the general prosperity.
Another thing which i wondered about would be, as there is a first person view only in battle, would it be possible to travel around the world map, but in the first person view. So for example u can roam the lands view the "battle screens" and when u hit the edge of the map, you move onto the next screen. Along with this you can see Caravans roaming around.
Also would there be any way to interact more with the enviroment, so for example, make Wood a tradable commodity and if one chooses you have the option to view the world by the same "battle screen style" map and be able to cut wood, or send your peasants to do the same. Then in turn be able to sell lumber.
Other things like farming animals too...
Just a few ideas for some more Non warfare style game play.
Btw, will there ever be any expansion to any Asian kingdoms, perhaps all the way to Japan ?, so include China etc etc Id love to be able to live in a Japanese kingdom, I know most likely to physically far in real world terms for the distance, but would still be fun
Cheers guys
