Edit: People won't agree on who is best, there are too many variables into what makes someone good. Plus there will be bias. Half of the nominations will either be ass-kissing or trying to make it so you can say "I have the champion of the UK in my regiment"

If you had spent any time playing on these servers, then you should know that there is a zero tolerance on racism. With a name like that, you are clearly a troll who is there to try and offend people. Basically, every online game/community/server does not tolerate racism, so why would you believe that this would be an exception.
If you want to play on these servers, then you should read the rules, they are in the forums, and I am not sure to what extent, but I also believe that the welcome message displays some of these rules.
There is no excuse for using a racist name.

This has always happened though yedrellow. People learn something, use it, awesome at it. Others learn it, and then it becomes a case of everyone uses it, so the melee is stagnant, so you learn other tricks.
I played since MM waterloo 2, and since then, I have seen this happen lots of times.
Started off with just the people who can block beats everyone else.
Then people who feint.
Then chambers.
Then held stabs, chamber feints, block chambers, etc. Basically counters and advanced chambering.
Spinning was somewhere in there.
Jump stabs.
Held wiggling stabs.

Blah blah. All that will happen, is you just need to wait, find a new tactic, and these stagnated fights will be gone....until the cycle repeats itself that is.

Edit: You talk about slower combat, but it isn't slower to be honest, it might feel a little sluggish, but it is just getting used to the timings of other stuff which people are having problems with, give it a week and people will be fine with it.
Yes is the fighting is slower, it is easier to block, just means that you have to do something called, getting good. There is more in this game than blocking and attacking. Learn how to chamber, wiggle, hold your stab, maybe do a spin, as it can still catch people off guard.

I can't understand why people seem to think that just cause you can't beat someone with 1 click, the game is stagnant, I can get into a fight on all mods of Mount&Blade and I can have fights for several minutes. Doesn't mean the games suck, it just means the people fighting know how to block, and may not want to take risks. I can still go into a fight with someone, and spend a minute trying to kill them, or kill them after 2 attacks. It is the skill of the people who are fighting that determines the length of the fight, not the melee system, so that argument is invalid and it is annoying to see people still trying to use it.....

Can't be bothered to join in with this discussion too much. Just going to say, what game have you been playing? Numbers are the best way to win, there has basically never been a guy who has emerged alive in a 4v1, let alone a 7v1. Just cause you talked to some people doesn't mean a quarter of the community will leave, my whole regiment has grumbled about the melee of NW compared to MM, not many left.
And if you have been paying attention to the forums, you would notice that there was a hotfix to sort out this stun.

Just cause you aren't satisfied with a game does not mean you are entitled to get your money back, just don't play the game is the only advice you can be given on this...

You seem to have a lot of ban requests Ni, so to hopefully save the head admins time from searching through the logs, I have pretty much no life at the moment , so I am usually in the FSE teamspeak most of the time, so if things like this occur you should be able to reach me there, and if not, you can always contact me on steam if you would prefer.

Next, I don't get offended by very much, so no it would not offend me, but different people get offended by different things. The way that he used the word "negro" and the context that he used it in was derogatory.
Just because you can find a definition does not mean it will support your case. "disrespectful attitude", this is what he showed when he shouted "you are a negro".

Also, the definition of the words is bloody ridiculous, so, here are a few:

fa**ot, also a British food, and a bundle of wood used for kindling, used as a derogatory insult to homosexuals
f**k off, insulting phrase, does not literally mean what the definition is "sex off"?
you are sh*t, you are poo? used to say someone is bad at something.

Those are just 3 basic examples of the actual definitions of a word not meaning what they are used for? I could find some more but I am feeling a bit lazy at the moment.
In all of those cases, it is the context that they are being used in. I could call someone a "mug" and it would be offensive, because I would be calling them stupid or idiotic, what I am actually doing if you use the definitions, I am call that person an item that you drink fluids from...

So as I have said in my other posts, it is not the actual word he said, it is the way that he said it, and in the CONTEXT in question.

Indeed Negro is not an offensive word, but again it is the context that it is used in, and in this context, he was being racist.

Regardless if you joke around with some admins about this stuff, it does not mean when he warns the server not to be racist, you say something racist, it is rude, it breaks the rules, and it is disrespecting the admin in question.

Also, just because someone isn't racist in general, does not give him the authority to say racist things. What he said was racist, his personality doesn't come into question at this point, he broke the rules, he was punished for it.
The personality aspect comes into play when the time is being determined, as in, is he the type of person to break the rules again.

I am also slightly offended that you think all admins will back each other up regardless, I am an EU admin, I think I have spoken to Thundersnow maybe 2 or 3 times? I am just backing him up here because of the fact that his actions were right, and people who can't simply accept this are trying to make it appear he is in the wrong, which he is not.

In some cases, I would have just temp banned him for saying that, but because of the fact that Thundersnow said that he had already typed a warning in the server chat, and then the person in question says something like that, I would have just perm banned him as well.

With the challenging the admin part that I said, it was badly phrased. What I meant is there are always people who want to test the boundaries, or think they are smart by doing the opposite of what the admin has just said. (not sure how to put this into words properly)

The rules say no teamkilling, there are no exceptions in this. There is no wiggle room. It does not say "No teamkilling, unless it is your friends then it is alright". It says "No teamkilling".

What people seem to not be able to comprehend, is that the admin said, no racism, and then people say racist things, so to be honest, they deserve the perm ban for trying to see how far they can push an admin. People seem to think that they look cool because they challenge an admin, and then as Thundersnow said, they then cry about it when they are punished for their cheekiness and stupidity.
You are talking about "negro" being spanish for black, well black is english for black? doesn't mean you can go around calling people black in a derogatory manner. Can't be bothered to scroll up and find who said it, but someone said something about context. This is a stupid argument for getting you unbanned, in fact, it just enforces the ban. After the admin warned people about not using racism, as well as 6 other people, 1 guy shouts "you are a negro" this just shows 1, that he is being racist as it appears he is trying to use the word negro as a derogatory word, plus that he is just a troll.

Next time, think about the consequences that will ensue after shouting something like trollish like that. I admin on EU server, and I would have done exactly the same.
