Hey guys, Pengo from FK here. Sorry to be an arse, but would it be possible to update the front page of the rules?
We keep breaking the odd rules without knowing of it (such as the supposed "2 officers per reg" rule). I may be horribly, horribly blind and just missed it, but if not, it would be greatly appreciated if you could update it when you have time.

It's a very good quick reference to use just before LBs, without having to read through all the posts.

The problem is also decent admins. My friend's experiences have been admins being reported to, and they say "this admin will take care of it", delegating simple tasks. The admin that then inherits the problem does nothing. I'm genuinally sorry to say this, but i've moved to a smaller server with a nicer, smaller community with admins who care. I simply cannot be bothered to deal with the bigger server and its players/admins.

Today was the first time i've played PW since it was initially created. My friend, Pdfxm said he would teach me the game, so to begin with we did some mining. As we went to the Docks in the main town, we were selling our iron we had been farming, when a player called "Austin_Martin" came into export office, killed Pdfxm, Hossel and Drengi (who were also selling iron), and said "my iron now".

How does this affect toggles? He/she was standing behind Austin watching it all, and then did nothing.

About 10-15 minutes later, I went back to check prices, to get a general idea of what I should be doing to make money. Toggles then proceeded to run out of the export office, said nothing, and began attacking me with two other people.

After asking around about how to contact admins, I was told and then promptly wrote a message asking for help.

An admin appeared. The admin was Toggles.
I was shocked, asked why he/she attacked me, and Toggles replied with "lol I don't remember attacking you" and began to defend himself by saying he was playing the game, just as I was.

I apologize for saying this, but as a first experience, being randomed on a mod i've only just started playing, to find out that the killer was infact an admin who had failed to do their duty twice within such a short time, I was slightly upset.

My personal opinion is that for a game such as PW, those who get admin should not be allowed to be "brigands" and should certainly follow the rules that are stated, such as no randoming.

Sorry, it may be a possibility I posted in the wrong place then. It was the Beta4 server, had around 90 players on it.

I've had the same problem as Mr. Bob for a couple of days now. I try to connect to a server, and it initially says "connection to server lost", followed by "this profile is already in use". After several attempts it alternates between the two. The only difference between our problems is that I cannot connect to the server at all. Another FK member also had the same problem, but said it resolved itself over time.

Any help would be appreciated!

I completely agree with you, the best line battles (in my opinion) were the old ones led by generals.
But Moogs has a good point, it will be a nightmare to organize, and it's additional work for the admins to organize. It's not really fair on them considering everything else they have to organize!

FK would like to sign up with cavalry and arty if possible please.

Very good training today people!

We saw a very nice turn out of players, despite several absence posts, the maneuvers were carried out quickly and effectively by all players and the correct balance of having fun whilst listening / obeying orders was spot on!

Square however are secure to all sides, which make it much harder for cavalry.

That is how you should play as cavalry men. Charing directly into a line or a soldier is not going to get you very far. You need to get them from the site or the back and you need to think a bit, before charging.
