The picture in SplinterT's thread is exactly the one I was talking about. I think that it makes the Town watch seem more of a disciplined unit rather than a rabble of glorified peasants. (I accept different people may have different views on what the role of the TW should be). I just think it would be great to bring it back.

Dont think you can tell me to get off my high horse. I paid for a game and they failed to deliver, I have every right to be angry. Steam has one job, sell games and they failed to do that. I bought the game because I wanted to play it, not wait for a bloody solution.

Im kinda pissed off they took my money and wont let me play, I want an apology and the problem fixed, neither of which seems to be happening.

Ok, well I wasnt even one of the ones to go on the island. But i spectated them and saw them all try to leave the island when the admin asked. Then as i said they did not go back onto it. So I really dont think that incident can be taken seriously as a reason for a permanent ban.

If musicians were only made for linebattles then they shouldnt be available in the official server. Then again I didnt make the mod so Its not up to me to make these decisions. All I know is that there isnt alot you can do as a musician other than play the instrument and try to stay alive.

Im not questionning your rules here Vince, but how would you have liked the musician class to be used? They were stood in a group playing their instruments, what is so wrong about that?

Vince, i just want to point out that with that island, there were only around 5 individuals doing it, all of whom made an effort to leave the island when asked. They didnt go on it again so it was not a repeat offense. It was by no means a whole clan misbehaving, as i mentioned earlier a number were playing on the server normally.

Gokiller I dont remember what happened when Praetorian joined the server, I just recall a hand grenade being thrown at a group of musicians who were whilst being slightly trollish not breaking the rules.

The reasons they called abuse were as follows:
The insults, childish troll for example
The fact they hadnt broken any rules
The fact that the hang grenades were being spawned at 1 every round
The fact that the muscian class is there to be used, in napoleonic battles i guarantee you that the musicians didnt rush into battle. Their nature as non-combatants limits them to a role at the rear end of the battle, what you call "camping" a reference that has always confused me because camping normally involves some sort of temporary shelter in the countryside, anyway i digress.

Im confused, is there a regimental battle or not, I know there are Private battles, but is there one for regiments to apply to and is open to all regiment. Atm my regiment always attends the public line battle and is one of the serial offenders of filling up a whole channel and im sorry for that, but i cant see a regimental battle.

I firmly believe this could work, if you divided you team of 15-20 men, into squads or fire teams of 5 ish people, that way you have a number of units therefore maintaining tactical theme. You could essentially use modern platoon tactics, I think maybe some new maps might be required tho.

This Sunday Line battle, one of Praetorians, back when i was in 13e, there were about 70 of us left on the british side against alot of incoming russians, deployed on a mountain our whole army was ordered to charge about 90 russians at least, it was easily the biggest melee fight i have seen in 1 year of MM, I remember Achilles going down like a proper hero killing about 10 of em
