How long have you played Mount&Blade Warband: since its release (Warband) and prior to that, since the release of M&B Solo in 2008. been playing M&M since its first release, participated in a good amount of Line Battles as a regimentless player.

What skills do you have that will help the regiment: I like organization and discipline and am always willing to take responsibility. In the midst of battle I keep quiet and do as I am told, and expect all the others who are not the commander do the same.

anyways, I'm playing the game for a week, got a 40 men party, i'm around level 17, have 20k now for myself, did it mostly from quests, looting Rhoddock caravans, and assessing prices, using what i have, and selling in other cities. another way is ofcourse the tournaments, just bet 100 on yourself and win it all, always pays up like 3500 denars + 200. fun times.

should try encountering more sea-riders perhaps. going to take a little trip to nord lands

Another newbie from Israel.

I accidently bumped into this game last week, downloaded it via the site, played it and got hooked. I heard it was good but didn't believe it would be so fun to play. I like the open-ended nature of this game and the depth of everything that you can do in it, like train your men, equip them, sell prisoners, and lots of other things I reckon.

so I just "bought" the game (just got a serial key) and very proud to have done so.

I dont believe any game attempted, in the past, to put the player in the heart of medieval warfare. the total war series did it well, but from the general's point of view. I've demonstrated the game to a friend of mine who's a Total War fan. loaded up one of the Siege-Skirmish levels and he was very impressed. knowing him as an open-ended-game-style fan, he might buy it as well.

I guess people asked before, but this thread is really long -
are there any general things that I need to know before I start playing? are there any mods that are obligatory, in some manners? (example: Stalker's "oblivion lost").
my version is 1.003.
