    By servers I actually meant dedicated servers, machines. Sorry if that wasn't clear. So yes, as soon as system decides a new machine is required, it opens new ones. And we don't just open one machine but multiple at a time. As for game servers as in instances of game, we try to keep extra servers open and ready even without a need based on usage at the time.

    Thanks for the clarification. Another thing, in custom match the server is being terminated at the end of match but the clients are not being properly disconnected before that happens. Because most of the time at the end of match my client get stuck instead of returning to the lobby.

    o_O you have no idea what crashes so why blame it on the hosting? If the connection would be **** then you can maybe look at the hoster but the connection is great. It is just servers which are not completely stable, it's early access...

    Also, MP is not the main focus from Bannerlord, this has been said many times, the main focus of Mount&Blade has always been SP. Look at how many players play Bannerlord (200k at the same time) and how many are queuing for a server (100-1500). Less than a percent of the players is in MP at the same time.

    Yes it is early access and it will have problems but that is not an excuse to not acknowledge, investigate and fix those problems. Also that's the sole purpose of this sub-forum: "Technical Support". I know you are a fan boy but please don't, that's cringe and not helpful at all.

    You may only like SP but multiplayer is a major game feature. You can't speak for everyone. Your method of accounting is bad, number of people queuing is just part of the total number of people playing MP. And as of my case, I got tired of it due to the bugs and instability. We can only imagine how many others did the same.

    What is a hoster? Are you saying host? AFAIK the servers are running in cloud instances thus "the host" (the cloud provider) will definitely impact in the performance of the servers far beyond the network stuff.

    We do not have an upper limit for servers. More servers opened as soon as one needed. But we have some ongoing issues that we are aware and investigating. Sometimes, due to those issues, server scheduling stops for some time.

    Is the infrastructure elastic as well or the scheduler just start new instances as needed?

    Happened to me too. Lot's of armies with 0 troops roaming aimless or stuck at cliffs. The destroy party console command is a temporary fix.

    Summary: Game crashes frequently and rarely is due to a video problem but every time I re-open it I'm asked if I want to launch it in safe mode and even when I choose no the game is launched in a "safe" low resolution.     Because of that playing the game with friends is frustrating. DCs happens every other match and there's no way to reconnect to ongoing match.

    Same here. Most of the matchs I played the servers were throttling or crashing. Also there are not enough servers, game sold well and a lot of players are trying to play it but facing very long queues at prime time.

    In two different savegames I am unable to declare war or peace through the kingdom panel. At the same time war and peace are declared automatically by the AI while not letting the player control this mechanic.

    Sadly I believe it's intended due to diplomacy not being developed yet.
