    Crackling sound

    I know I am another person who is replying to this after several years, but this issue recently began after I upgraded my PC. It only occures on this  specific game. Sadly the fix mentioned several posts above does not work. Since this fix is working for most people I probably won't get this to work anytime soon, I just wanted to get the message out that this issue is not gone.

    Any help will be appreciated nonetheless.

    EDIT: I forgot to add that I had also upgraded to windows 10 around the same time.

    You should download the whole file from Taleworlds site and do a clean install.

    next suggestion when that doesn't work? I uninstalled, rather than manually deleting everything, so I dug on the forums a bit and tried deleting the rgl file and changing the language to french. Nothing.

    Edit: further digging taught me to delete the contents of the folder in application data, which seems to have fixed things

    I tried that too and excactly the same happened. I can't open any of the .exe files that TaleWorlds publishes.

    I did download the official TaleWorlds.com patcher. But when i try to start the executable file a message opens and says it is not an ''Win32'' application. And the only thing i can think of is downloading the files, instead of using an installer.
