    when in an army character are no long are listed as travelling to, and instead it stays waiting at, but will no pregnancy. I tried to leave her in a city by starting a party and then disbanding it. Which caused to to stay at a city, however every time I waited at the city she would disappear from the keep and only reappear if I left and then returned.
    Still I’ll give you’re method a try as I’ve tried everything else. I just figured that she spawned into my 1.5.1 game unable to have children and is unaffected by the changes in 1.5.2

    I have a post about this issue, Since 1.5.1 when you enter a town or village, your companions and wife are listed as still traveling to said town/village. This means your wife is never in town so you cannot get her pregnant.

    Thats the way its always been for me in this game. However with 1.5.0 went live my problems started. Didnt get worried until i couldnt get my wife pregnant. Maybe my character is sterile and my companions are on strike. I dont know.

    The option to send a companion is greyed out. Its like you do not have any companions.

    Understand completely, i'm taking a short break due to this issue because i dont want to waste time without the ability to get heirs.

    K, here is part of what your asking for, I do not use any mods (straight vanilla), Here are some of the towns/cities and villages with quests.
    First 3 are when i entered Poros and after 5 days waiting in Poros. The next 2 are from the village Canoros, showing they my companions are still traveling and cannot be used in the Deliver the herd quest. Then went to Ispantar, and the same issue but with the bandit base quest. ( ).

    Whenever i enter a town, My companions show as still traveling to said town. This means i cannot send my companions on quests and my wife is never in town so cannot get kids. I have waited in town for up to 15 days and my companions never show as they are in the town just Traveling to said town...

    I would suggest saving and trying a few times to make sure it's not just bad luck though. If it is the case, you make post on tech support so they can hopefully fix this.

    I'm just playing 1.5.0 and yes my wife and all companions just say traveling.

    I don't know about the companion, but did you try to send them on a quest and couldn't? There's other reason why you can't send a companion sometimes.
    I think the traveling/holding is just what it says and doesn't' matter if they're in your party.

    I have tried multiple times to send my companions on missions and cannot because the game doesn't recognize that they are present. It doesn't matter how long i rest in said settlement. As for my wife, i just wasted 15 days of salary sitting in the town resting and nothing.
