  1. Grinding the trade skill is boring

So if you don't want to be a trader because you find it boring...then...don't? I don't understand the point of this post.
The point is that gaining skill is extremely slow. meaning that after doing the same task over and over again and only getting to level 100 it has gotten a bit ridiculous. It was fine at first, but after the number of hours poured into grinding this skill I would have expected to be moving onto the next thing, not having to grind another 120 levels in it. I have enough money, my money per day is insane right now. But instead of moving on to the next step, I'm going to be stuck, just hoarding more wealth while trading for a pittance in comparison to my passive money.

    There is this bug thread:

And possibly it's not just the case how the numbers are shown but how they are actually calculated.
After checking my game I notice I have a base of +0.83 Social +52 and +154.17 from my focus points giving me the apparent total of 7.

    0.83
    +52
    +154.17
    = 7.

That is some amazing math lol

Wow, if that thread is correct then I am pretty shocked. That is quite the mess up lol. Will have to jump into my game to confirm this is happening on mine, if so then I guess we might have found the issue.
  4. In Progress Learning rate (and thus subsequently leveling) math is wrong

Summary: The math behind the learning rate is wrong. It only counts the first decimal number before the point instead of all numbers. Meaning if you should gain 92 learning rate from focus points, you actually only get 2. This breaks leveling completely.
How to Reproduce: Go in game and count the numbers yourself.

So is this why I have been grinding trade for hours on end and only just pinging 100? Got to say this trade run has to be quite frustrating.
  5. Grinding the trade skill is boring

The problem is the overall XP gain to skills. Its far, far, FAR to low. I use the Bannerlord Tweaks mod that lets you adjust everything in the game , xp gain included.

Anyway when you get to 225 Trade and get the park that lets you buy cities and castles you can buy any city for as low as 1 gold....
Unfortunately, I am running on Geforce Now so don't have the ability to mod. I was hoping I could install it on my laptop, change the game files, save it to the cloud and be able to do it that way but from what I have heard that is not a thing that can happen in Bannerlord as you could in Warband (with editing the save file)

After investing this many hours into doing this it just kind of feels like a waste if I just abandon it, but for the sake of me not getting to the stage of resentment towards the game I might be better off just waiting for these things to be fixed before I bother trying to do this run.

But that also means I'm still going to have to put up with the snowballing and try to fight against it. Guess I'm going to be collecting the heads of many a lord.
  6. Grinding the trade skill is boring

As the snowball effect is still happening I decided to make a new save going all trade and not involving myself in the factions wars with the intention of eventually starting to buy up what land I want. But even after dedicating this run to trade, after passing trade 100 I am honestly just...
  7. Prison Break?

Can I be done? Looking to get a lord out of a city dungeon but can't seem to figure out a way to get him out.
  8. [Suggestion] Any of the 3 empire factions are stronger than all the other factions.

That will be pretty much it, the empire or empires weren't supposed to be in a civil war or in decline? maybe an event or quest could occur in which the empires toggle a civil war event and have to ask other factions to there help.
I don't think they need to be in open conflict immediately, but their stance towards each other should be pretty shakey. I like the idea of a civil war event, it might at that point push the factions of the Empire to pick and choose what barbarians are going to benefit them in the war(s) ahead and what ones are going to be an issue. But I don't think the issue is with the empire factions but maybe just the AI kingdoms as a whole. It is early days, these are the things that are going to have to be addressed and reworked during this EA period.
  9. [Suggestion] Any of the 3 empire factions are stronger than all the other factions.

The main issue with the empires is that they aren't at war with each other. It should be a three way civil war, making it a really tough time for the empire. Instead, they're all neutral, so they've got safe borders on most sides and can focus their efforts on the barbarians. That is the exact opposite of what it should be.
100% The Empire factions should be focusing inwards at each other and having to bat off the barbarian attacks, but currently, Battania is rampaging through my western and southern empires and it does not seem that they are going to slow down. Whatever is making the factions snowball this quickly needs balancing because ultimately it is taking away the end game because the AI has already won. I mean, I guess you could rebel against them, but that should not be the default way to do an empire run with your own kingdom. I know you *could* raid one of the dying factions and pick at their bones, but then inevitably you are also going to get steamrolled eventually.
