    Customisation System Reset

    I cant even log in to multiplayer after the update, just crashes. Will post a crash report in a few hours or days. Looking forward to checking out the system for myself, happy with the apology, fully acceptable for EA for new features.

    The multiplayer matchmaker now prioritises pairing parties of 6 players with other parties of 6 players. If a party of 6 people cannot be placed in a match for 3 minutes, they are paired with other parties.

    To be honest, I'd like it if it were harder to get top tier troops overall. Low tier troops should represent a considerable chunk of an army, as it usually was in medieval times.

    I disagree, in Mount & Blade the lords are running around with their personal retinues. why would it be full of peasents? Lower tier units such as a soldier with perhaps just a helmet a spear and a shield I 100% want to make up the majority so I hope that is what you meant. I also subcribe to the idea that even peasents could manage to scrap together a shield and a spear if they were levied into a proper army. Peasents defending their homeland from raids are something else.

    Exactly, I definitely think this thread would look different if everyone had been in the closed beta. Serious issues went unaddressed for months even though they would have been easy fixes. The current state of developer communication is just a continuation of what we had previously, where they have their own idea of how the game is going to be and are just ignoring huge swathes of criticism.
    As someone who participated in the beta it always astonishes me when I launch a mp match and see how many EA players there are. I had the beta since Nov. 21 but didnt play too much untill they had improved some major flaws with it. I still remember slower combat, delays and delays and the OP throwing weapons in melee. People complaining about classes from day 1. They are bringing back auto block so why not the old multiplayer system people have been repeatedly asking for in equal numbers relative to their communities?

    It would 100% be interesting to see if the majority of the people who are "happy" with the game and those who sometimes get classified as fan-boys were in the beta or not.

    and voting with your wallet, which is the true gauge of success.
    Success does not always represent a good game, audience retention keeping a game alive is what matters. Something that made warband stick around for so long that it did.

    It's totally fine to offer your opinion on what needs to be balanced and how, but the majority of posts in this thread come off as a bunch of entitled whiny 13 year olds. It's pretty enraging to see people throwing all their toys out of the cot because that thing they mentioned on the forums wasn't immediately implemented and pushed within 24 hours. Get over yourselves. Wait a few months. Lo and behold, doing things takes time.

    P.S: how many of you grifters even know how to code?

    People expect a certain amount of feutures and quality in the game according to it's pricetag. Luckily TW offered a 20% off, something I consider as a very smart move as the negative backlash would probably be even higher. I don't consider people being entitled 13 year olds when they complain they cant run the game even if their pc can play simular games. (in terms of graphics) You might have a point when talking about how people are complaining about a lack of feutures and bugs/crashed, but a lot of this comes down to bad communication from the dev team. We have no road map, no information on how much is not included in the current build. Only snaps of information here and there from limited interraction.

    Buy a ship and sail the seas ( I seem to remember talewords saying it was too complicated to implement but it is a really cool idea that would give added importance to coastal cities as more merchants can reach them.)
    Ship combat, naval traval or trading system? If ship combat is too hard to implement when they somehow managed to implement it in warband would be beyond me. Same goes for the other options, wasn't this engine supposed to be better? This dosent seem very true to me.

    After the new patch and beta hotfix I can only play the beta branch, if I opt out of all beta programmes it is stuck on 100% downloaded and when I press resume it just pauses.

    AI combat effectiveness has been increased.
    I rly hope this is true, if it is great work!

    EDIT: You can still circle/hugging around your enemies in a 1v1 and the AI still have no clue what to do. Not to mention the AI blocking dosen't feel fixed either...

    I mean yes it does make sense in some ways, however there are listed many multiplayer improvements so it would make some sense that there would be a few server for it. If not why bother putting it in if people cant test?

    Personally I like the new system just because I'm actually trying out different things this time around instead of just defaulting to heavy armor two hander as soon as I get the gold for it.

    It's an entire different experience then warband, but it does feel nice to go for something else then the Great Sword 2400g set on TG. However, I still think warbands system works perfectly for deathmatch.

    I feel that the only missing ingredient is the visual customisation that Warband offers, allowing players to inject their own personality into their character.

    Would it be possible in the future to perhaps slightly change the visuals of your armor without changing stats?

    i got into a situation in tournament where i got stuck in 1vs 2 against 2 handers as a shielder.. and i could not sneak in a hit, like i used to in warband.. even with me "dancing" around i still get "spammed" bythe ai as they facehug you to death... this led me to the impression of ai just spam attacks...

    1 vs 2 is very hard in SP tournaments early on mostly due to the AI having far better stats and armor then you, and you can't make up for it with skills as team damage is not enabled.

    but still IMO the ai needs a tweak where they would feint attacks every now and then.. and also that the ai would try to "dance" around you(similar to players in MP lol), instead of just trying to facehug you...

    As said, no team-damage leads to facehugging that are both frustrating and stupid. Don't think taleworlds will ever manage to make an AI that can deal with team-damage instead of just wildly swinging in group fights but we will see.

    After some time during a campaign, some lords were remaining without troops in their party because of financial problems and constantly being harassed by bandits. Lords now manage their finances more effectively and take troops from garrisons if they are at risk of going bankrupt. This was one reason for the snowball effect in the campaign, with kingdoms being eliminated too easily.
