    in captain mode when you take control of an AI character after dying and this character was holding his shield up or doing something that slows his walking speed you will be locked at this walking speed with no way of coming back to the normal character walking/running speed.

    I did two clean installs, verified integrity, updated drivers/windows, and deleted some CNs folder all to no avail.

    Today I did three things which resovled my issue (but I did them all at once so I dont know which)
    First,
    I did the following fixes (which were posted above)



    Second,
    I set the launcher and all the .exe "things" in the game folder to run as administrator.

    I think it was the last one, running as admin; I vaguely remember having to set that when I first bought the game.
