Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord Developer Blog 11 - Some Context

What I want to know is if looting vilages and attacking caravans has a bigger impact on a factions economy, as well as if there will be a morale system for the AI. Say you raised a village and defeated it's lord a couple of times, his armies morale should be low enough that it's possible to make them flee.

I'm normally wellrounded, but I only put my agility to a max of 21 since that's really need. I upp the other skills to make myself a more formidable force in battle and on the world map.
Why not 21 strength instead? Also by the time your character, what level are they and what are there other attributes?

You can get riding 4 from your starting character if you choose the answers right.  Let me check.  Well, I played with female nomad/apprentice/lady in waiting/forced out of your home.  It gives you riding 4 and a spirited courser in your starting inventory.  Crappy dagger and a shield is enough to win against a drunk in tavern, if he happens to be around.  If you don't plan on investing in archery, which your stats do not suggest, you may consider this or similar start and leave AGI at 7.  Not perfect for winning tournaments, but works OK otherwise.

There is a book for Weaponmastery.  On the art of fighting with swords?  Something like that.  Also there are inventory books for Trainer and two medical skills.  I forgot which.

Inventory Management scales with INT stat.  If you want to increase INT a lot, you are better off putting points into everything else.  Inventory Management does not give you anything worth having.  More place for thrashy loot which will only slow you down.

Trainer scales with INT too.  Really, seriously, if you want to max this stat go for Engineering and medical skills.  At 14 you build siege towers in 6 hours and ladders instantly.  At 14 First Aid all your downed companions respawn with 80% health for the next round.  Only one in five downed units die, and you get them up in no time because of high wound treatment.

Trainer seems nice, but I tried it and early on you are better off investing in other skills.  That's what my powerplaying experience says.  Anyway, have a quick look at this thread http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,289920.0.html.  We discuss here some finer points of what would be the most efficient build possible and I test it in practice.
I don't play females and for this build, I wouldn't be using archery.

I had forgotten about the Weapon Mastery book and I plan on using the Training book.

At least on Floris IM has it uses, seeing how items now have quality, so raiding villages can be extremely profitable. Besides I have so many skill points, there's nothing else to put them in.

Ymira is going to be my main healer, I'm pretty sure surgery doesn't stack. However, I can always put 2 skill points in each medical skill.

Except your character is going to be the highest level character, so it'd be wise to have your character max out training.

    Character Builds

Today I'm going to try a 12 strength, 9 agility, 27 intelligence, and 27 charisma character. Anything over 4 in power strike and iron flesh is over kill (unless you fight on foot), and you only need enough agility to ride a good enough mount which 9 is high enough. Using the charisma and intelligence book, I'd be exactly at level 40 when I reach the targeted attributes, which is when the xp spike begins. As I previously mentioned surgery doesn't seem to stack, and I plan on using my companions for all my party skills. However, seeing how I'll have an overabundance of skill points I am thinking of investing two points in each party skill. Now for my actual planned skills it goes something like this. Mind you this is planned for Floris.

    Iron Flesh: 4
    Power Strike: 4
    Weapon Master: 3
    Shield: 3
    Athletics: 3
    Riding: 3
Trainer: 10 (+1 from the book)
Inventory Management: 9 or 10 (I'm not sure if Inventory Management has a book or not)
    Persuasion: 10 (+1 from book)
    Leadership: 10 (+1 from book)

    Character Builds

Obviously builds will vary depending on play through, but what is/was your favorite character build? I made this thread in the hopes it would help newer players trying Warband for the first time, as well as older players who want to try something different. A while back I was playing a Vaegir...

    Graphics and scenes Problems/Feedback/Suggestions

2.55 Grundwalder castle is missing the step leading into the actual castle, making it impossible to siege.

    Tundra Bandits Have No Horses

I know in 2.54 they had mounts and according to the wiki, they should have them. However, if I remember correctly in 2.54 their map icon was the same as forrest bandits and searaiders, even though they have mounts while the others are on foot.

    Tundra Bandits Have No Horses

I installed 2.55 and fixed the arena issue, but I noticed that tundra bandits no longer have horses. All I did was add in the missing arenas for the cities.
  8. Ramsay Bolton

Bug Reports & Known Issues [v2.54]

So the arena texture is missing for the melee fights, but it loads properly for tournaments. When doing the melee fights every spawns in the same area, so it's easy to get dog piled.

Is it intentional that you can't rescue lords, if you're unaffiliated? I tired rescuing a lord twice, only for the dialogue to be missing. Killing the guard and talking to him, initiated combat dialogue. Yet when I bribed the guard, I only had the option to elist in his army.

If you kill the guard then you automatically pick up the key (you should get a message) and so can unlock the lord's shackles or whatever, if you bribe him he just let's you go inside for a look.  That's how it should work anyway. I've managed to rescue unaffiliated lords before.
For me at least the option is missing.

Also are bandit lairs still in the mod? I have yet to find one.

Regarding the salt mine is that for historical reasons or just convenience?
Mainly for the convenience, but also because there are salt mines in modern day Ireland. However, I'm not sure if there were any back then.

2.54 Gameplay was working just fine, but the screen turns black after flashing the select a banner screen when trying to select my character's stats.

    O/T

This might just be me, but there should be a salt mine in Ireland

I was asking while I was downloading the mod, thinking that I may not be able to handle it. Funny how I had no problems with it, but I can't get Floris 2.55 to work.

So I installed 2.55 and when I go to character creation, the select banner screen flashes before the screen turns black.
