I absolutely hate it when there is an uneven number of teams (for example 3 and 2 of them gang up on my team) or when my team sucks (and I was left 1 vs 7)

I'd just like to have a nice 1 vs 1 tournament

my tip:
get a town, make an order with doommaces, become marshal, have 1 guy follow you and hold all your slaves (I have a guy with 1100+ slaves now ), then tell him to go to your city so he will unload, bathe in gold

I would have never figured this out, because always there were 3 people downstairs, and then only 2, so I assumed the RB guy dissapeared

Don't have a training grounds in your town/castle. That's the only way really to prevent that at the moment.

I just checked, training grounds isn't built in some castles where they level up.
I guess I'll just give them away to some of my militia patrols.

I remember this bug from native, but I honestly have no idea how to fix it.
Are you able to hit them back? If not, you could just run away from them and cheat to knock out all the guards in the town.

I did that, I had to knock out the lords for the "mini quest" to end

edit:
1) D'Shar lords didn't attack me
2) I had good relations with the two Sarleon Lords (10+ I think)

Question:
When I try to break out a lord they attack me

I had 32 relations with a lord before capture.
Why can't I recruit him??

i know i can rebel if a town/castle isn't given me
i want to keep all my town/castles
is there any other way ?

that's why

1) character development:
in Pendor I forget about personal skill and concentrate on party skills:
- surgery ! (you really don't want your best troops to die)
- pathfinding ! (catch easy pray)
- looting ! (you will need a lot of money to keep those best troops)
- etc.

2) recruits:
- I get Nobles from taverns (they go up to Hero Adventurer)
- and anything in the line of Heroine Adventurers

3) companions:
- trainer skill is an absolute priority

do you know of any way of trading villages with another lord ?
- ingame ?
- savegame editor ?

nope, absolutely no intention to redistribute it

if noone knows that such a tournament mod exists, perhaps the great minds behind PoP would consider modifying the tournaments, which i think haven't been touched at all
