    I've heard it was easy to use older versions of warband but until now I've never had a reason. Ever since the vikings patch in warband my computer is suffering terribly while running this game. What ever "improvements" they made to the game I can't get anywhere near the same performance now...

    They changed the way the graphics detail works. Go to config in main menu before loading your modules and put the texture detail to 70%. That will at least restore the graphics. as for performance, You may have to may have reconfigure things for the short term until they figure out and patch (if they do it at all) what they changed.

    It has to deal with your graphics or your resolution. Fix those and it might work

    You really need to stop posting in these threads XD.... The update/release of VC wrecked a lot of graphic and performance related things for a lot of people in their other mods and native as well

    Your FPS is not due to VC being released and an update for NW coming out. It has to deal with your settings, resolution, graphics that you are running. If you run VC and not NW, VC has a very high standard graphics setting even if you run low quality. There is a large possibility that when running VC you might be limited to your FPS but NW itself or Native should not be affected. Make sure to check your system thoroughly even by using a system optimizer and some of your issues might solve. Other than that all I can really say is lower your graphics so your performance should be better and your FPS will most likely raise as well.

  7. Graphic/appearance of common resource items corrupted.

    I've noticed that since installing the vikings, default items have been corrupted. That is to say that their appearance is corrupted. The items themselves are intact but the colours and definition are gone... Almost like they were created with minecraft art. Some items are still clearly coloured...

    We expected it to be something better than what we can throw together in a week using the module native and modding files. We payed for the mod... it wasn't a freely shared one.

    False. Doesn't work with item type "musket." That was the first thing I tried.

    Hello folks. To the point.
    I've made a mod and the only issue I have now is getting the shop keepers to sell the muskets. If I use crossbows as muskets I can get them to appear in the shops, how ever I don't want that.

    I would like to know where to look for the change that I need to do so that the shops will start selling the muskets along side the other weapons.

I've successfully introduced muskets, etc, done all the editing related to them as well, Ie allow Weapon Skill firearms. I have the sound files but I can not for the life...

    The games definitely needs a lot of work still. Warband was no bag of roses when it came out either though. I do agree that until more bugs are fixed warband is much better overall (if I had to compare them)

    Personally I would say that warband may be better right now, but F&S has much more potential room to become as good or better. It's just no where near that yet.
