I was wondering if anyone could help me with a minor complaint I have.
I really dislike routing in this and is there any way to tweak the scripts.txt to turn it off? I dug around a bit, but I don't know quite how it works and was wondering if anyone could help me out? Some of the battlefields are particularly large, making routing enemies a big issue with an all infantry army, prolonging battles into an extra 3 or 4 minutes of waiting while my troops trail after a single routing enemy.
I believe the battlefields are designed to be larger to host large scale attacks. I suggest you grab some cavalry (10 or more) and just leave them on the back row. let them charge when the enemy tries to run. Really helps make the battle short. In any case you can always retreat when the enemy is leaving. I believe it will still get killed and will still count as victory on the report screen.
Errr, can someone tell me how to make peace with a faction? Cause I'm pretty much at war with 4 major factions and unless I make peace I am boned. (A way besides meeting the king and paying for peace)
Go to your advisors on one of your cities. One of them can offer peace terms to factions if you send a companion. (preferably one with high persuasion). Else, you can just hammer them good until they offer truce

works every time.
