1) You can buy both kinds from the special armorsmith (random chance, not cheap)
2) Steal from a lord (1 or 2 have the berserker armor) that is your prisoner
3) Loot it after a battle (if the enemy troops were using it, like berserker or norse bannerman)

How does 2 work? I have a lot of lords in my prisoner tower with torturer... How can I steal their armor?

Enabled cheats, enabled cheat menu, talked to caio, kick him, lose 15 relation with him tough, he joins back immediately, pause bug removed!

Caio rejoins almost immediately through an event and the pausing stops.

Is there a fix or hack to do this in storymode? Can I somewhere at least temporarely activate the possibility to kick him out of the party?

I guess they are just sociopaths by default.
They will give you quests anyhow, so just do a small quest for him.
