  1. Resolved Resolution/Video Settings never saving

    I am playing this game in 2023. and it is October. And I have the exact same issue. I checked with a friend of mine and he confirmed the same issue. However he has 1920*1080 as his default windows resolution, so he does not get crashes. I have larger monitor and higher defalt resolution. Is this pure incompetence on dev's part? 2+ years and no permanent fix for something as standard as resolution setting?

    I read through and it is exactly same issue: C:\Users\Robin\OneDrive\Dokumenter\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Configs\engine_config files save and show changes, but game does not respect them and falls back to "Desktop resolution". My issue leads to worse than stutter, cause it makes battles crash. I found a workaround and a possible culprit (in my case). Cause whenever it crashes I get asked if I want to start in safe mode or not. I reply "No" and continue. But I think this sets monitor settings back to default no matter what. Leading to a new crash no matter what I set. So with this in mind my workaround is to set the settings. Restart game to avoid the "Start in safe" mode question. Then I can see that it respects and have the settings as defined in "engine_config" file. But only in the main menu. As soon as I load up a game and check its back to "Desktop resolution"..... sigh..

    It is mindblowing to see such an old problem resurface (or was never fixed?) over 2 years later.

    Why is this set to "resolved" with no ending comment on the issue? Do not seem like it is solved ... at least not properly!

    Sorry for necroing this. But I have to address this "Please note that we can’t support any modding-related issues."
    Firstly, the modding community help to keep Warband alive and increased its longevity by many years. You have a lot to thank this community for. This helped greatly to keep the interest for the very long wait for Bannerlord 2. Without it, your fans would have moved away along a long time ago and sales would probably be bad.
    I have been using mods for a dozen games over the years and it is very frustrating when you have a good set of mods in perfect working order only to be broken by a GAME UPDATE!. I know you can't take responsibility for mod changes, but would it really be so hard to look at the top 30 mods and try to avoid breaking what they do?
    If you improve upon or include some of the great ideas, why not communicate this with modders and the community?
    And when you bork it with updates do you even try to help the modders to fix issues? Can't be that hard. As it stands now I would very much prefer just turning of updates and staying with mods that work, and only consider updating if you fix game-breaking bugs! And this is not a good sign. Hope your attitude towards mod community cooperation changes!
  3. Resolved Party wages are much higher than in party screen

    HI! This is an old Issue I can see! But I have the exact same problem now and have been looking all over for relevant info. This is the only description that fit my problem. My wages + 1 more party should cost me around 1300 a day. But it cost me 6400 a day !!! At first, I thought it was extra expenses. But the party is full and already upgraded. If they bought food etc it would be fine, but I tested for several days and it keeps taking 6400 a day. It is insane and makes it unplayable with the extra party.
    Please investigate!
    Edit: I also set a limit on wages for max 900. The current wage for that party is around 450. I set it at that to let it grow and plan on checking now and then to adjust.

    EDIT2: I loaded an earlier save game. Then I watched closely the mechanic by following the extra party around. I can see that the first-day cost is 6400 cause of expenses. Then it withdrew that money and it got adjusted to where it should. And the next day I pay normally. So it is now happening as expected. I do not know why it wrong happened the first time, but I leave this comment in case others get the same problem. Just load an earlier save and see if that helps.
  4. Need More Info why pay for my own troops to go on a mission, why high level troops running away

    I have same problem! This "feature" are clearly programmed wrong. It cost me so much that there is almost no point sending companion and troops on most missions. You have to adjust this, as this clearly destroy a good feature inside the game!
    As long as you only demands normal wages for the troops you select to go, it would be good and totaly make sense. Please adjust!
