Not sure if it was reported but Mance Rayder's family tree seems a bit messed up, when I tried to marry one of his relations (Stepsister I think) it gave a lot of error text.

Edit - Because the map was made upside down, south is north and to fix that would be more effort than worth while. Perhaps an easy partial fix would be flipping the compass model? So it points the right way.

I have been playing Reforged Edition for a bit and just left Friese, the game is great, much more story focused than I was expecting.

No bugs so far, I will hold off making any suggestions at least till I have progressed further, so much more to see and do!

But which features? If it is a great feature then a restart would be almost essential.

I am really looking forward to playing. but I am not so rushed that I can not wait a week or so.

I have only recently bought the DLC and yet to play, perhaps I will wait till the beta release of reforged edition. I am sure it is stable enough otherwise the beta would not be made public.

You are right Faenwulf, it has been a while since the announcement and the wait for release might not be overly long. Technically compatible, but as you also said it has reduced features with an old save, I will exercise patience I guess.

Yea and I am kicking myself because I missed it by only a few hours. I am not asking for a better deal, but I can not rightly get it at the moment knowing it was on offer a short while ago, so I will wait and see if it goes on again, still a while till the summer sale ends.

Anyone know if the DLC will get much more support after this major content update? It seems to me that this version coming out may have been the developers original vision for the DLC, but perhaps lacked the time and resources to complete it all before initial release. Which brings up the question, should a new buyer hold off slightly on playing in order to play this upcoming reforged edition? The content sure seems to indicate a different and better playing experience and no doubt is not compatible between saves. It would not be fun to get really nicely into a game and then feel obliged to start over after a short while because of the update.

The lack of definitive release date makes answering that a little hard I guess, if it was still a few months away it would be fine, but a few weeks, waiting might be good?

In the mean time I will just sharpen my skills with classic Warband.

None taken, but it perhaps feels as though offence was intended, especially with your battlefield reference. (A game I never played)

They already have my future support, I am a guaranteed purchase but only when it hits the same discount, I am thrifty and not eager to throw money at everything I see. That said feel free to put your money where your mouth is and gift out a few copies to people, if you truly feel they deserve the support then show us all.

What? So you recommend that not only I pay full price but also wait a week or so for the steam sale to end specifically to do so? Deserve it or not, I am not an idiot that would pay more than they have too.

I will wait for it to be the same sale price or better.

I have only recently realised that this DLC for Warband exists and after reading about it I have gotten excited. Specifically due to the Reforged edition, dog companion and unique quests like the Last Tuatha Dé Danann. I have always wanted a game to be centred around Irish mythology, perhaps revolving around Lugh and fighting the Fomorians, but I will settle for a small quest in a Warband DLC instead.

I know I just missed a steam sale, but my thriftiness prevents me purchasing it at its current price. Fingers crossed it goes back to 40% or better, I really do not want to wait till Christmas to potentially get it.

Just so you know Brytenwalda, your efforts with a Reforged Edition has definitely earned you a new purchase and potentially a fan.
