Using GoG version of the game, game crashes on startup

Computer specs:
OS: Win10
GPU: Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti 8GB
GPU driver version: 522.25
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
RAM: 32GB
Motherboard: Asus Prime X470-PRO
Storage device: mechanical drive

I have the same problem. Worked perfectly fine before official release. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and disabled the save-sync options on GoG. Still crashing. The worst part it isnt stating WHY it is crashing. Just that there was a problem.

There are some people here on the forums that doesnt seem to understand the differance between a STAND-ALONE game and an ADD-ON expansion.

Stand-Alone game: Just what is says; a Full game
Stand-Alone Expansion: expansion packs that does not require the original game in order to use the new content

Add-ON expansion: Requires the original in order to play it.

Off all these 3 options; I would say that Warband is... stand-alone game... and if you are really stretching it, it could be a stand-alone expansion

I mean, would this topic even exist if them developers decided to name the game to... say... path to power? conquer thy enemy?

Bah, why am I even bothering? There are ppl out there that cant read/grasp simple things in life... like the differance between a stand-alone expansion and a full game. I pity them fools
