    I don't know whether it sorts by the sale value or unit tier or something else, but I'm sure the person that coded it can find out very fast.

    Update: checked in 1.7.0 stable and it's still happening.

    Honestly i would want DLCs that expand the vanilla game with more indepth systems, expanded areas of the map with more factions etc leaving total conversions for mods that could benefit for those new features.

    these options are thrash, I don't need any of that, just find a total conversion mod and you're good

    just add cool stuff to the base game:
    - naval travel, combat, shipbuilding etc
    - already mentioned elephants sound great
    - maybe some independent factions apart from the mercenaries, something like hidden templar orders with their own agendas and stuff
    - side stories/questlines

    How is everyone's morale these days?

    Morale is great, love the new patch.

    I don't mind unbalanced parts during EA because balancing some things now might be a waste of time due to imbalances introduced through new mechanics later. Hence, I'd leave any detailed tweaking of constants for the last patch before the release.

    What I'm happy to see now is nice bug squashing and polish.

    Also, M&B gets high replayability from interesting battles. Any new battle mechanic such as the OOB, diversity of the maps, and better AI gives the game unreasonably more hours of play time. Looking forward to better AI.

    Making Surrender Have a Purpose - Simple System

    seems like a fancy new system

    things I like:
    - adds more purpose to being merciful yourself and maintaining good relationships with other lords
    - kind of adds some micro-diplomacy in these capturing events, which is a good place to add it
    - adds more purpose to character traits
    - adds an event of NPCs executing you (or maybe even other NPCs? either way, it gives more drama to the game)

    things I don't like:
    - possible early game unlucky death
    - possibly speeds up the game (if other lords execute each other) while other systems are still very slow and player won't have time to get far with them (for example the trading grind)
    - it's a whole new system, ie it will have a lot of edge cases/bugs/weird behavior/whatnot, will need to be tweaked, tested etc... (maybe is not the top priority at the moment)

    [Beta 1.6.5] Smithing QoL

    Reviving this topic to mention another (very simple) issue on the smithing screen.

    If a player clicks almost anywhere on the screen where there is not a button, their cursor will get moved to another, specific point on the screen.
    I don't know how/why this occurs but it is very simple to reproduce.
    This is specifically frustrating when a player misclicks a button, and then the cursor goes on a completely different part of the screen and they have to move the mouse this whole path again. Unfortunately, the mouse is already at the edge of the mouse surface, so this also requires lifting the mouse up, moving it to the center of the surface and then moving again, destroying the quick "flow" of the smithing process.

    3 Late game problems that I hate!

    I feel you, man.

    1. I think this is a balancing thing. It doesn't let you overgrow with too many vassals (i.e. win due to your charisma and friendship). I don't mind it much, but I also feel that more AI tweaking is going to be done here at some point.

    2. Agree. Don't know how to fix this, I guess more diplomacy mechanics need to be introduced? Maybe something like keeping their sons/relatives hostage at your court for some time? idk

    3. This is what currently really bothers me. I think there should be a lot more of economical, food-producing buildings. I strongly feel like a city should be able to overproduce and export, if it hasn't seen war in a long time. Furthermore, I would really love to have cities with huge garrisons, hard to take, needing a whole enemy campaign to attack.

    What 1.66 Needs

    in the mod you can select any character at any time to play as that character. A later addition gave you a popup whenever a clanmember is under attack.
    sounds great! I think the overall focus of the game should be to play more/see more in one really long playthrough, rather than starting and grinding everything again every single time I realize I actually want to play a different weapon/style...

    The point I was making:
    There not that many people that are interested in this kind of game (it's a niche game) and if we want the game to be faster developed or bigger in size, we are going to have to pay more.
    Alternatively, the producers could expand the genre to attract new players, but that would probably degrade the experience for us, the original fans and destroy the game's character.

    A monthly subscription would be a bad idea since many players play M&B SP only. However, a price rise is a MUST.

    Tale Worlds has no competition! What they're doing is creative and unique. They are certainly working hard and are restless with ideas.
    The only problem is that a medieval RPG RTS FPS build-a-castle wield-a-sword kind of game is NOT MAINSTREAM!
    We are only a subsegment of the market buying a niche game that only we enjoy. There is not a lot of us and for this to be an even bigger game, M&B needs to cost more.
    A lot of other companies made great games, but then made them mainstream just to earn more (look at WoW! I couldn't play after the Cata expansion, it's just too dumbed-down).

    Personally, I have always dreamed of a game such as M&B and when I found out about it, I was thrilled. I completely understand that TW is not a big company and that games take time, but if the Bannelord revenue could speed up the process of creating a sequel or employ additional senior programmers for engine development or an army of artists that would move the game even further, I would be happy to pay for it. Furthermore, I think that a higher price wouldn't lose a lot of customers since this is a game that comes out once in a decade :grin:.

    I've been checking on your mod development last couple of months and I wait for it with excitement.
    Take your time, make a great mod.
    I have one question though: have you taken any thought about the new mount and blade 2: bannerlord and possible GoT mod for the sequel too?
