  1. Tournaments with nobles rewarding horses most of the time

Most if not all tournaments with nobles reward horses that can not be used before midgame. Can tournaments stop rewarding horses all the time, and start rewarding bows too btw? Also the recent tournament frequency change has really reduced the number of tournaments for non-imperial factions...
  2. Prodigy children

Its really hard to level up children and create an heir. You could have something like 1 out of 10, 15 or 20 children ends up being a prodigy kid, with higher stats. Eg they could get say +50x3 instead of +5x3 SP at stages of development, and start out with 10-20SP in a bunch of skills.
  3. 'Sumpter horse inequippable'

Just got a companion with low riding stats. She can only saddle a sumpter horse. But when I try to give her one, it says what it says in the title, and does not allow me to give her the horse. How tf else are we supposed to let them gain riding skill then? This is 1.6.4 btw.
  4. Armour is stupid expensive, why does a tough dress costs 1/6 the price of a city??

Armour in this game, both horse armour and normal armour, is way too pricy. Similarly weapons, like a menavlion or romphalia is a knife on a stick. This makes for a very boring game, you either get armour from cheats or play for years as a faction leader with armour inferior to 4th tier...
  5. Army AI is utterly broken, unplayably broken.

I don't know what did TW folks do to army logic, but currently armies are utterly stupid. They will walk up and down or wait in a city untill cohesion goes from 100 to 0, or flair in between towns or castles, never committing, and disband. This is not exactly new, would happen every once in a...
  6. Shield wall turning turning turning

In shield wall and line formations, if a single cav unit gets behind a 100 strong infantry formation, the whole formation turns as a line as if it was a propeller. This defeats the entire purpose of a shield wall. Even F7 doesn't help. Is there a way to mitigate this or would it require TW folks...
  7. Gameplay option idea: no protection from friendly fire

afaiu friendly fire is severely limited in the game because it can be used as an exploit in some cases. which is understandable. but i thought it'd be fun to have a mode where all sorts of friendly fire is possible, ranged, melee, thrust, whatever. e.g. if you're just slashing at a crowd with a...
  8. Resolved When some traits are too high, party wages and food consumption can become negative

Summary: How to Reproduce: Have you used cheats and if so which: campaign.add skill xp to player Scene Name (if related): Media (Screenshots & Video): Computer Specs: OS: GPU: GPU Driver Version: CPU: RAM: Motherboard: Storage Device (HDD/SSD): I increased all values beyond 300, except scouting...
  9. Personal space issues: NPCs should stand a bit apart with F1-F2

With the follow me command, often the NPCs are so close to each other and the player that they push you around and their indicators block your vision, making using ranged weapons harder. they should stand a bit more apart and away from the player
  10. Improving tournaments: bigger prizes and renown when the king is there, distribute NPCs more equally

First suggestion: give more expensive prizes when the king is in the tournament. E.g. stuff in the 15k-30k denar bracket. It would be a way to acquire nicer stuff without waiting until endgame. The tournament could be made slightly harder to compensate. The second suggestion: my observation is...
  11. 1.5.9 SandBox bandit infestation

Playing imperial on 1.5.9, there are at least 2x more looters and bandits on the map than before. Some places its impossible to move.
  12. Resolved Shields are penetrable to thrust attacks

Summary: on 1.5.9, thrust attacks can and often do penetrate shields in the correct position.
  13. Troops get killed way too easily

I generally play in reduced damage mode, because I mostly play this game casually and like the RPG side more than the battles (to battles are great fun too). But with the new sandbox option, playing with realistic damage becomes more fun, so I wanted to give that a go again. Personal...
  14. AI armies rush sieges, attack with no towers or rams built

On 1.5.7, since a few days, I see armies attack without towers nor rams nor any siege weapons built. Also, another new problem is troops climb on towers but then stop midway. A youtuber that goes by STAN games has made an interesting remark in a video: just replace ladder towers with ramps...
  15. Losing a battle leads to a lot of useless chores

The experience of losing a battle is as follows: * Most of the time its 100% destruction of your party, which is alright. * Your remaining party members are scattered all over the map. * You go looking for them when you're eventually freed, but the encyclopaedia constantly lies to you. *...
  16. Horse gives +1 speed in battle roster, but -1 in civilian roster

I've a single guy party in my new game and I noticed this: with realistic speed, my speed without any horses and a single barrel of grain is 5.0. When I get a horse into the inventory, it shoots to 6.0. When I add it to the battle outfit, I gain +2 speed and end up with 7.0. When I equip the...
  17. The whole "buy horse to level up troops to horsemen" thing is illogical

I can get an imperial recruit and level him up to a legionary that has juggernaut armour for the cost of a pack of arrows. But upgrading to horsemen requires buying horses twice. Why? All this does is to annoy the f out of players. I think that should be removed and horsed troops should get...
  18. Escaping a fight, you lose way too many troops.

So I have a party of 170, and very high tactics and roguery. I find myself trapped in a fight, and if I try to escape, I lose 110 troops. And if I go for it, I'm often put in a situation where I can't go to clear. At that point all I can do is to enter the fight and pull off the archer thing...
  19. Messengers and detachments

Currently the player has to do a lot of things, like finding mercenaries or contacting other lords etc., all manually. I suggest two game mechanics to improve the situation: 1) Messengers This has been brought up before numerous times, but I still wanted to suggest a concrete way to achieve...
  20. Assimilation and multiculturality

As it is the whole culture thing in the game is pretty static. A nice addition would be the following two game mechanics: 1) Assimilation If a settlement stays under another culture's hold for long enough a time (like a couple decades), slowly the notables change cultures. E.g. Battania took...
