  1. Switch control of army to sergeants instead of mass charge upon player death

It would be nice if you would switch over to playing a companion when you die. If no companions are up, then a random troop among the highest available.
That would also be a great way to handle death. It might be a bit strong from a balancing perspective since you could be very reckless with little downside, but it would be fun.
  2. Switch control of army to sergeants instead of mass charge upon player death

I dislike how your troops collectively charge the enemy if you get knocked out during a battle. There are times where I want to try to get into to thick of things in a fight but I hold myself back because I know that a few well placed arrows or a lucky javelin means that I lose half my troops in...
  3. Is there a single person here saying that is no performance issues that's actually done a siege? (Or any large battle)

    Ryzen 7 3700x, 16GB ram, rx 4600xt.
Get around 60-70fps in battles of any size but when I try to do a siege I can drop down to 15fps. Most annoying part is that in sieges I can have my CPU sitting at 30% and my GPU at around 70% but I'm still getting terrible frames. I have the hardware, it just isn't being utilized.
  4. Tournaments are kinda silly

I have done a lot of tournaments, and so far my biggest gripe is that you can't order your allies around like you could in warband. (I think, might have been a mod doing that). Made group fights so much more bearable.
I do find it odd that everyone keeps their armor instead of having a standard set of armor like they do in warband. Makes it hard to get some wins early on since it's hard to kill some enemies due to how tanky they are. Not to bad though since the AI can't turn very fast so you can just endlessly circle around them and they won't even get a chance to attack you.
Also shield + polearm is the worst. Please don't make me do that. Just long and boring.
  5. Are caravans worth it? [EDIT: THEY ARE]

I don't think trade skill matters at all with caravans, unless there's a specific perk you can acquire, and if it turns out that it does actually affect caravans, you can definitely profit from them without levelling up trade. I have been getting 1k dennars from just one caravan with low trade skill but they take time to get there.
There is a trade skill that reduces the wages for caravans, IDK about anything else though. And to clarify when you say they take time to get there are you saying that the caravan profits increase over time, or are you talking about the first couple of weeks where the caravans make no money?
  6. Are caravans worth it? [EDIT: THEY ARE]

If you have a expensive party, around 1k dennars, I wouldn't stop building caravans until I had at least 3, currently I'm capped at caravans because I managed to catch and beat up a noble that had an army of around 140 that carried 120k dennars on him. I don't know how often this can happen, but if every big noble carries a treasure with them they are the most reliable source of income right now.
Alright that's what I'll try to do in my next save. I misspoke a bit in my first post though. Ignoring my party's wages I was losing on average ten deners a day on the caravan, and some days I would loose up to 200 deners on the caravan. It was much less common for me to profit off of it. Do you know what I can do to make sure that my caravan is actually worth building?

edit: The wages and profits were both around 330 deners a day, which seems to be both more expensive to run and less profitable than others have experienced. I don't want to try to spec into trade since I'm trying to rp a bit with my character. Should I just give up on caravans if I don't have specs in trade or is there something else I can try to get profit.
  7. Are caravans worth it? [EDIT: THEY ARE]

So I have had a caravan for...probably a few months at this point and I'm still losing money on it. It's about even most of the time, but overall I'm still probably losing on average around 10 deners a day. Aside from leveling trade is there anything I can do to make my caravan profitable? Or should I just disband it and accept the 25k dener loss that I have suffered.
In the future what can I do to maximize caravan profits? I just created a caravan in a random city but I imagine that that may be part of my problem.
