  1. Suggestion: Four ways to add immersion/intrigue

Four suggestions to create a more immersive/intriguing experience to the game. Assassins: A noble (depending on character traits) may send an assassin after another noble for different reasons. One could be because a noble killed a family member on the battlefield (We need to keep track of...
  2. [POLL]Which of these features is in most urgent need of fixing/adding?

#1) Better skill upgrading for companions/family members. It seems like it takes years for my children to get 50 weapon skill with 7 vigor/5 focus points while fighting all the time. Scouting and engineering (building projects as a governor should increase engineering skill) are way too slow to develop also. Plus, they need to fix the scouting perks to work for clan members like they did before.

#2) Increase base map movement speed a bit. Slow movement is really making the game a complete bore.

#3) More variety in companion attributes/skills. Every one of them has like 2 social/intelligence with no focus points. (How can we build up party leaders like this without spending hours smithing?) Definitely need some kind of re-balancing because I'm tired of smithing for hours just to get focus points up every time I start a new game. (Replay Score: 3/10 between snoozes)

#4) Sandbox needs at least one sibling starting out.

#5) a "King of the Underworld" storyline would provide an option to build a criminal empire instead of a ruling kingdom.

#6) Add companions to family member parties.

#7) Spy missions to get information on other towns without having to travel there.

#8 Basecamps for non-fief clans. (Similar to the camp in Viking Conquest) Camps can only be found if stumbled upon. Sight range would have zero effect on discovering its location.

#9) Caravans that collect specified goods and place them in the stash of a specified fief along with its normal trading. Only 1 good/1 fief per caravan.

#10) More peacetime activity (feasts, clan requests (a clan asks all other clans for aid in something specific like adding food or workshop materials in a town or troops in a garrison; This would be different from a quest because every clan could participate and ends when war is declared)

#11) Mercenary clan missions (Break someone out of prison, raid a certain village, etc)

#12) As a ruler, hiring mercenary clans without having to track down the leader.

I could go on and on. This game needs so many improvements to even feel like Mount and Blade.
  3. Resolved can't increase cohesion

Yeah. He described it dead on.... without using the proper format TW instructed us to use. Funny though... the OP doesn't seem too upset about being asked for more info. I suspect it's because he's an experienced and well balanced adult who understands he failed to use the format. And rather than challenging Marda for "making it difficult to report things", he simply provided the information Marda requested. Thank you @Flesson19 for brining this issue to TW's attention because it is a rather pesky situation.

Also, if you have 1900 hours and have been following the issues that have come up with this game, you should already be well aware that not everybody experiences the same bugs and performance issues. When I read the patch notes to see what was fixed, more than half the bugs they mention never affected me. That's why people need to use the format TW provided for reporting issues. Because it might be a problem with your type of machine or the way you configured your machine. If you don't use that format, prepare for your post to be placed in a "need more info" status no matter how "dead on" you think you described the problem.

I'm batting .1000 for getting my reported issues placed into "In-Progress" status.... when I follow instructions. The only time my posts get put in a "Need more info" status is when I fail to follow instructions (which I have done several times because I can be lazy too). But that's a me problem and not a Taleworlds problem. I never attacked Marda or any other dev because they dared to ask me for more info. Especially when I'm the one who didn't follow instructions.

Follow reporting instructions = "In Progress"
Don't follow reporting instructions = "Need More Info"
Are you finished? Adults have expectations. Naive children accept excuses. They have used 3 of my suggestions in game. No acknowledgment whatsoever. I'm tired of the loops. They can hire their own testers (since they have millions) instead of using us to expand their own bankroll, so STFU with that arrogant naivety. Furthermore, as a developer myself, I would fire the developers responsible for breaking functionality every update. You are so insecure in your maturity that you are afraid to assert expectations. So lose the unfruitful ego, kiddo.
  4. Resolved can't increase cohesion

We were not able to reproduce this on our end. Do you have a save file where you are in the army?
Look, if you guys would read our posts more carefully you wouldn't reply with a need more info. Create an Army with ONLY Clan members, let the cohesion go down then try to add some. It's like it doesn't finalize. It works fine when you have parties from other clans in the mix.
  5. Resolved Clan Role Selection icons blocked by finance overview

Summary: When we try to assign a clan role, some of the clan member icons are blocked by the financial overview. How to Reproduce: Just access the party clan role screen with more than 4 or five clan members and you will see for yourself. Have you used cheats and if so which: Scene Name (if...
  6. Resolved can't increase cohesion

Same problem here. You shouldn't need more information. He described it dead on.

Listen. I have 1900 hours in this game since launch. You guys are making it difficult to report things. Furthermore, a little testing on your end wouldn't hurt before patch release since you break half a dozen things every time. This is getting annoyingly unacceptable. We are NOT your mules.
  7. In Progress Clan roles not being retained when assigned. 1.6.2

Summary: Party members can't be assigned clan roles. How to Reproduce: Assign a clan role to a party member. Click done, go back into the screen and you'll see they're set to nothing. Have you used cheats and if so which: no Scene Name (if related): Media (Screenshots & Video): Computer Specs...
  8. Suggestion: Allow Clan leader to Renounce Clan Leader Role After 10 years

How does it become "too easy" by choosing a crap charachter( Not matching rule 4)?
Yes, I assume you could switch to your sibling at clan tier 1 without rule 1 to gain a far more developed MC. Does this make the game to easy? I don't think. A shortcut? Yes indeed if his build matches your need. I´m all for shortcuts though. Earlygame is very grindy and if it could be speeded up, I´m all for that. It´s SP - if player wants to play the siblings, let him!

Rule 2 (and 3) serves well enough!
Look I just don't think the player should swap anytime they want to. The campaign is grindy because of the time limit (which they should remove or extend) and the bugs (Conspiracy jumping all the way up and causing 3 wars when you miss one quest). If you could swap anytime, there wouldn't be a decision there. Just swap, swap, swap. No tactics, no strategy, no nothing. They may as well let us form our own kingdom at the start of the game if they did that.
  9. Suggestion: Allow Clan leader to Renounce Clan Leader Role After 10 years

I reckon this means you start controlling one of your family members and your own character becomes NPC? If so, yes, there should be an option to swap characters.

Though I never played campaign long enough to see how your children develop, but by looking at my siblings, 4th requirement is likely impossible to meet. They develop so slowly by themselves. 150 fighting skill is something even most companions don't have and your siblings start from almost zero.
No. Not impossible. Two Handed goes up pretty fast. Steward goes up pretty fast. Smithing and Riding goes up pretty fast. If you throw them into party leader role right off the bat, then it is slow. Use smithing to level then add focus.
  10. Suggestion: Allow Clan leader to Renounce Clan Leader Role After 10 years

Been thinking of something simelar - Regencies and abdication

I see no point in all requirements though - except point 2 and 3.
Well, points 1 and 4 are intended so that the player can't swap clan leaders anytime. I want this feature, but not loosely. Don't want to make it too easy.
  11. Suggestion: Fix too many heroes dying off too quickly.

Problem: Clans are dying off too fast. I know the heroes dying creates intrigue, and it does add a lot to the game when combined with marriage childbirth and all that. But the problem is that they're dying off too frequently. It takes 18 years for their kids to grow up (that is if they stop...
  12. Suggestion: Allow Clan leader to Renounce Clan Leader Role After 10 years

Suggestion: I think it would add a little more spark to the game if we could step down from Clan Leader and assign someone else to be the Clan Leader/PC while our created character serves as a Clan Member/NPC. But we shouldn't be able to do this just anytime, but only when the following...
  13. Need More Info Getting ransom offers for lords from messenger without having captured any lords

Sometimes, other lords who have no lands or are far away from their own lands will deposit them into your towns. You still get the ransom message in these cases. It could be mercenary clan prisoners who are always at war with specific kingdoms, whether or not the kingdom is at war with another kingdom.
  14. Resolved Sons can't get married

    I uploaded a save file.
  15. Resolved Sons can't get married

Summary: I try to find my son a wife, but the only message I get is "hmm, that won't work out." This happens with every clan and with every possible match, no matter the kingdom, culture, or relation. It's hard to continue your game under these circumstances. How to Reproduce: Have you used...
  16. In Progress [1.6 Beta] a little Smithing Issue

I second this. Also, when you name a weapon, it doesn't retain the name.
  17. Resolved Terrible Frame Rates, stuttering and pauses switching to most screens

Yes. The menu screens are awful--very annoying. I would rather deal with an occasional crash than deal with this ALL the time. It's killing the game experience right now.
  18. Resolved The Influence value turns negative after solving after Distrupt Supply Lines Quest

What's happening here is that you started a war by attacking the conspirators caravan (I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen) and lost influence as if you started a war normally. It happened to me and it started a war with Sturgia, and another time with Battania. So the real issue is whether or not attacking a conspirator caravan should start wars.
  19. Suggestion to balance forces

Also leader clan tier could set the base.
T2 => Allow setting up an army with 1 member
T3 => Allow setting up an army with 3 members
T4 => Allow setting up an army with 4 members
T5 => Allow setting up an army with 5 members
T6 => Allow setting up an army with 7 members
    I like this idea.
  20. Resolved Independent Clan Bug

OP is not responding. @dcolinfox Can you reproduce the issue on the live version(e1.5.?
I'm pretty sure this has been fixed for a while now.
