    In Progress [v1.2.3.24202_Beta] Crafted items disappeared

    Hey,

    I can confirm this, I have 1 crafted weapon, and after save and reload, the item is gone, it was equipped on my main. I spawned in a battle with only my bow, the 2 hand axe was gone. I also noticed trash item in my inventory.

    Hope you can squash the bug :wink:

    Workshops what happen when

    Maybe dumb question, but I recently returned to the game, and i'm playing the 1.2 beta, but workshops just don't give any money ... half of the time its negative, and then a war happens and if its in a enemy fief I just lose it (even after the war it's gone) ? This "feature" seems like a money drain right now... unless i'm doing something wrong.... #please help ?

    Hey,

    I left him going as I had a little bit of money, and you are correct it balances out (it doesn't stay at ~4k) so I think its not a bug its normal behavior. I guess he was lucky to buy up allot of troops from all over the place ... (or the algorithm just gave him/let me pay for it :grin:)

    Hey, Not sure if bug but sure looks like it; so I send a companion to do a mission keep recruiting and suddenly I have 99 troops and can only hold 83; so I decide to give my brother Noland 20 something troops and send him off; (create party in clan) and low and behold 2 ticks later he has 78...

    Excuse me you did the what now? You added something completely useless I would assume the majority of SP players don't care about instead of an actual feature or game system. Take your stinking emotes and shove them into MP where they belong.

    You sir take that back! I love my SP emotes.

    You might be surprised to learn that in fact, at its core, coding that in must have taken the better part of 15 minutes.The animation of the character is already included anyway, its just applying it to a user model. In fact its weird its not in warband.

    A question about supply lines, choke points, zone control, etc....all of the dev blogs said once

    Once number of horses and mules exceeds herding limit, your party gets solved down. When you load on tons of food, you won't be able to carry and sell loot. Not to mention that you don't get horses for free. Therefore it's matter of priorities and costs versus rewards. As it should be.

    dunno but in my current play i can carry 9k weight and enough food for 300 days and i never bought a horse.

    What a load of bull crap, TW has always been fair in its pricing. Even for bannerlord they gave us 20% off...

    dlc's don't exist for the older games as they are self sufficient games.

    once you have farmed a bit of horses and mules you can carry enough grain for the entire world... so i hope they restrict even users a bit.

    I'm just disappointed we won't be seeing the cool things that where in Viking Conquest or Warband and promised in devlogs.

    No Ships.
    No memorable companions.
    No Instigating war.
    No Duels. (And with viking conquest taking the lords gear after a win or forcing him as a prisoner)
    No Plotting.
    No Manors.
    Villages into Castles. (Which is in the 1257 mod in warband check that out!)

    As long as we are in EA, features can be added; after that, its another story; I quoted you as duels is pretty possible, in the quest spy among us, you actually duel the NPC you pick out. So its just up to TW to add the event option somewhere.

    If this is a feature complete game, I'm pretty sure nobody will buy it at release. Steams scores will be killed, doom. but it's not feature complete; and referring to posts of a developer who is not perfect English, and drawing conclusions from it, is ... sad. The result will be no other employees will join the board and updates will come through the normal (slow and vague) channels.

    He is still leveling engineering and applying his engineer skill to the task. It is just that, unlike basically every other skill, while sieging the Engineering XP is shared (duplicated?) among all the party leaders.
    Ah, sieging time has increased (since prev. patch), so to me it seemed as slow as I was doing it w/o him. (while an enemy army was closing in :grin:)

    Strictly objectively Bannerlord is an average or an above-average game, but by M&B standards and the standards of VC, It's a massive disappointment compared to the experience all of us were hoping for. It's not like this has never been done before.
    You forget to mark "in its current state"; We have no idea how potent the engine is, towards future expansion. In a world of micro transactions, multiplayer first, ... bannerlord is the exception having a serious sandbox single player.

    Perhaps for some of you, the fact that you can sit on a warhorse with a shield & sword has lost its merit, but I have to say, the feeling of racing before my archer line cheering isn't losing its fun.

    These unproductive topics while fun to argue, should be locked up imho; let's focus on what can be done better, and try to start the modding community.

    I have to say, I started a new play-through and I have to say : it has improved allot since initial EA ! I hit a few smaller issues, but nothing game braking so far;

    bugs :
    - When I change my name in the clan screen, after a while it reverts back to the original name.
    - When I put one of my companions as governor, and I go to the manage castle, remove him, he is nowhere to be found; The only way to get him back in the party, is to make him governor and from the overview of parties/people in the castle select him there and 'take back into the party'; other methods make him vanish.
    - Even tho my companion is lvl 60 engineering, during a siege, I am the one getting engineer points for building siege stuff; (I'm assuming my companion therefor is useless)

    Help a noob understand. What does the "code refactor" business mean?

    I am not sure if a third party engine would be capable of rendering and simulating thousands of people on the battlefield.
    They can and do in some instances; TW isn't breaking a new era in gaming; By all means they are a rather small blip in the game field, but having your own engine means doing it the way you want, which has been the case since well forever; and it has worked for them.

    Beside the fact that they are refactoring, it would have been nice if they pushed some smaller patches with polishing up small bugs; we are a month w/o anything that doesn't seem nice so early after release of the beta. #imho

    Almost two months into EA. Satisfied?

    Yes the game is fun and enjoyable, but lacks allot of content, expecting that in 2 months is ridiculous. While these features are in warband, doesn't make them copy-paste for this game.

    I think you need to make these kind of evaluations the moment they stop posting changelogs that are 90% 'fix a bug where game crashed"

    Miserable mid-game, new(ish) player perspective

    I agree for many parts; If I'm part of the war or the conqueror, I should be on the short list to get it; Geographical spread is ridiculous, it wasn't the case in history either; A region you know and have many fiefs are better protected as you can have multiple castles/fiefs/... in the area;

    I haven't had my own kingdom as that is not yet "ready", they said it when they released the EA so I haven't ventured into it;

    I hope we see some new stuff coming over the next few months, I have to say allot of work still needs to go into this game; I just saw a stream of warband and I don't have the same feeling when I'm on the battlefield; I feel like a looter on a horse compared to the hero of the battlefield in warband; (and yes I play on super easy!) I also can't find a decent 2 hand sword or any 2 hander for that matter.
