This isn't the big endorsement for the gameplay people seem to think it is
you know when people are praising a company for the cynical ploy of releasing an unfinished game at full price to take advantage of the current lockdown, then there is pretty much nothing they will criticise them for
Yes, but those are balanced out with the equally annoying "OMG thank you devs, have my babies for fixing a bug that crashed my game because of your 4th hot fix in a week"
Funny how the people who need to tell every one in every thread what EA means don't know what discussion forums are for.
going back on your word of honour and immediately attacking your captor after being released is pretty dishonourable, but the AI doesn't have any issue with that. Launching wars with no Casus Belli is dishounourable. AI in the game is a bit too hypocritical if they're clutching their pearls over a few chopped heads. Especially if the nobles in question are their enemies as well
Maybe they will introduce the ability to forge armour for yourself
maybe the AI should be constrained to, say , just conquering designated border regions, and go back and forth over those until player intervention
Even if you did have full plate, you'd just carry a bigger two handed weapon like the pollaxe
According to the OP, the AI is already divorced from reality
