    Can you try to reproduce this issue on 1.5.6? I've been informed that it is fixed in 1.5.6.
    Ok Im here to report my findings in 1.5.6.
    To begin with, some things did change. Not sure that it was for the best. Now armies have more food and more stable cohesion (which is a good thing since it allows them to siege for longer periods), BUT they are sieging the settlements with an army of the same quantities as the garrison force. What does this lead to? It leads to same thing I described previously. They come, they siege you for 10 days trying to break your walls with siege weapons, they eventually run out of food and then just bugger off. It happened overall like 6-7 times.

    The only way for the AI to proceed to Assault was when an army that was 2.5 times my garrison force besieged, broken 1 or 2 of my walls with trebuchets and ONLY then it decided it is good enough to actually attack. I believe (not proven by testing yet!) that if I max out my siege and normal workshops in the city and I would be able to destroy enemy siege engines for 10 days before they break my walls, enemy army no matter what size it is will just turn around and leave. I have an example of an army 2x my size sieging for 10 days, failing to break the walls and leave.

    So no, I believe the issue is still there and it may have just became even more annoying to reproduce since I have to wait for 10 days in a settlement for enemy army to leave so another one can attack.

    This only happens with lords who are weaker than you but it gets annoying when they eventually have a friend turn up who starts a battle with them in range meaning i lose the battle
    Its not a bug, its game design... Weaker lords run away from you cause odds are not in their favor.

    Someone posted elsewhere that you should target lords who don't own keeps/fiefs. They're a lot cheaper to recruit, assuming you can find such a unicorn.
    It doesn't matter, none of them won't budge no matter how weak or strong they are or whether they have settlements or not...

    What is your power rating versus their factions? I haven't tried a kingdom in 1.4.3, but in 1.4.2 beta having a much higher power rating seemed to make it possible to recruit lords with no barter after passing checks.
    Basically I had Vlandia completely conquered and then I just Relationship farmed their lords, they still wouldn't join even when none of them held any fiefs and they were literally running around with 20 men in their party since they had to money to recruit more. They all still wanted more than 3 mil + all my inventory.

    Let me start with saying - great work all around, I have a lot of fun with the game.

    My question: I started my own kingdom in 1.4.2 and now moved on to 1.4.3. I own 7 cities, a number of castles, maxed out smithing so money is not an issue. However, I can't get any of the lords to join, even the ones that belong to kingdoms without fiefs. Even when I do manage to pass persuasion checks, even everything I own, 4.5 million cash plus equipment is not enough even to make an offer to lords.

    Is this working as intended??? I hope not.
    I made a bug report thread and devs looking into this, cause it must be a bug of some kind, perhaps related to "having going" perk from Athletics tree, cause after i chose it, i got 100%-110% persuasion chances when talking and convincing any lord but no matter how much money I throw at them, they won't budge even when having 100 relation and throwing 3mil gold at them. It caused my faction - Battania to have 11 clans vs Khuzait with 30, cause no lord of other culture would join Battania as long as I was part of it. After I tested and left battania, several vlandian lords instanly swapped over to Battania, so its definitely some kind of bug

    Armor available to be crafted in future?

    TW have no plans for armour crafting as in creating new or custom armours. The weapon crafting system required weapons to be broken down into modular components. Armour isn’t suited to this approach and hasn’t been organised for it. However, they might implement stat crafting whereby a skilled smith could upgrade the effectiveness (armour rating) and value of a piece of armour without changing its appearance. Alternatively, if they implemented armour damage in battle, such skills might be required to repair armour to its former effectiveness.
    I see your point, however even there is no plans for custom armors, why cant we use the same steel pieces I have laying around in thousands to use to craft mail and maybe cultural armor, and have the same system for unlocking armor parts as with the weapons? And even that is not done yet, if you have seen the 2-handed maces section... there is not even a famous 2h morningstar from Warband.

    I don't quite understand why did you say that, the same weapon principal can't be used for armour? Literally salvage the drops and learn the parts like lamenar plating and different kinds of mail?

    Someone correct me If I am wrong, but the devs said they have no plans regarding crafting armors.
    Shouldn't they correct the description of the skill then? it gives false hope if they actually mentioned that.

    I just noticed while reading the skills descriptions that smithing includes "sew scales and other skills useful in the assembly of weapons and armor". Does this mean that in future version or even with smithing rework we can expect introduction of armor crafting? Cause it would be king of nice...

    Resolved Character's health draining outside of battle

    After starting a new character, I did the tutorial and then went to kill some looters. After defeating the looters, my character's health began draining on the over world map at the rate that it said I should be healing, until it was permanently stuck at 1% or 1 health point.
    you got no food bro. thats why your character losing health...

    Trading / Blacksmith broken?

    I would say this thread does not belong in this section, but I can tell you what you have described is not even "broken". On the other hand if you are to craft a 2 handed sword with t3-t4 blade (war razor is the best) and max out the length of the blade you can easily sell it for 100k a piece and also get 70 lvls per craft that will boost your smithing insanely fast. I was able to get 300+ smithing on my main hero and a companion in under 100 days.
    THAT is broken.

    Doesn't it say that you must own Imperial settlement? So an Empire culture one?

    I have joined Battania and its 1000+ days. Problem is, no minor faction lords or other cultures Nobles would join Battania while I am a part of the Kingdom. I was able to test that by Leaving the Kingdom and creating my own, and I saw instantly multiple Vlandian lords switch to Battania...
