You only get xp from spotting something and its really hard to spot something at lvl one, it's kinda wonky but scout will actually lvl up faster as you go because it allows you to spot so much more.

Just use heavy infantry, I had a garrison of about 400 plus my own army (100ish perisno great knights, and 200ish random assortment) hold off about 2000 Draharans very easily, there seems to be something wrong with the pathfinding once the gate gets broken the AI just tries to run everyone through it which causes them to take massive casualties.  Once you deal with the first few waves which have all the decent troops it becomes really easy and you don't really have to try anymore.  I just jumped over the wall ran up behind the blob trying to push into the gate and started farming xp by whapping them on the back of the head.

I read on another thread that one could use Morgh's editor to change stuff, where do I find out about Morgh's editor?

Draharan Knife snipers, Ive lost top tier troops 30s after spawning in sieges to those bastards.  And had them hit me multiple times in the face despite having a raised shield just on my way to the ladder.

what is Morgh's editor?

I had a question about editing troops and items.  I have looked up how to do it for native by going into the troops file and the item kinds file and adjusting the numbers but I can't find the files for Perisno.  where do I look?  I am using the steam version btw because I am lazy so I'm guessing that might also be the problem.  Specifically I want to edit the mail hauberk to make it a bit better and give it to more troops because I like the 11th century knight look it gives and only a couple of troops types have it.  Also the open pig face helms bug the crap out of me.
