  1. is the current beta worth playing in terms of stability?

    just trying to figure out if i should even bother with current beta release or just stick to the stable.

    i understand its beta and will likely be less stable but im asking if it's drastic
    beta mostly stable but it has quirks. You may encounter strange bugs. It is in beta for reason. When bugs mostly iron out. They will make it stable version. most of game crashing issues are usualy iron out before public beta.

    I am loss at words to be honest. I got the impression most tryed to avoid that. I find it boring to fight those armies of tier 1 troops. Mods do change that abit.
    It must be related to how long one have played.
    I never create my kingdom. I play as a mercenary and i change kingdom i working for. Usually i play for weakest kingdom. So i dont fight against armies of tier 1 troops.

    May i ask why? I find that feature is one of few that adds deepth to the game.
    I play bannerlord as "endless mindless war sim". So i dont care about "depth" too much. I think alot of people play it like that too. Alot of people caring about "depth" too. To me as long game do not crash and ai become complete patato and start suicedes(start jumping down from wall/cliff) it is fine.
  4. This bug is not fixed or need new game ?Crafting items to turn into trash while loading a save.

    I noticed this in patch and test in my game started at 1.2.3 , after reloading my crafted two hand axe still turned into trasd item
    Iirc that bug exist in axes and maces right now. A guy said, others are fine. But i did not test it.

    • Having more troops on the screen (larger armies allowed by the game engine).
    • During city sieges, having the population present (whether it’s people helping on the walls to manipulate stones or defense machines, or people running in panic in the streets).
    Iirc it is already very close to limits of engine. If you want civilians at siege you need to make a choice, you want same amount troops or less troops and a bit civilians. 2048 entities is limit iirc. Horse are also count as entity. Like every horseman/horsearcher is 2 entity, rider 1 entity, horse 1 entity.

    • Being able to increase tournament bets (within reasonable limits) instead of always being limited to a maximum of 600 gold.
    You can increase how much you can bet in tournament with some traits. It is in roguery iirc.TBF i want remake of roguery skill tree. Hard to level and all of roguery skills are not worth that trouble imo.

    • Having more unique rewards when winning a tournament (winning a javelin after defeating all the competitors in a tournament organized by a great noble or even a king is a bit disappointing).
    I think this is a balancing problem. I can win tournaments with new character. Alot of people can win with new character. So talewords do not want to give too good items to tournament winners. Or i am missunderstood you.


    • Having more diversity in equipment to avoid the “clone effect,” as well as a slight difference in color tone from one soldier to another (or from one garment to another) (for example, for the Vlandians, a more or less dark red depending on the cape/tunic/hood or the soldier).
    Iirc most troops has 2 or 3 sets of equipment. The thing you called "clone effect" is something intended i think. So we can figure out enemy troop type.
    Color change depends on banner of lord they serve iirc. I think this is also intended.

    • More evolving sieges: for example, once the first wall is taken, the fighting continues in the streets (such as houses that can be occupied with the ability to shoot from windows or roofs, barricades in the streets, a second door to cross, etc.) and this continues until the gate of the keep (which would bring back the interest of having a second enclosure in certain castles).
    Sounds nice but it will be a pain. Like devs need to remake all castles. Also that make attacking place way harder. Imo my primary loss are before my troops reach to castle walls. Esentially you are saying you should reach castle walls several times. So every siege needs to remade. Too much work for too little gain. Potencially harmfull gain imo.

    • Having more life in the streets of cities, such as more passersby, pets, children playing, musicians, workers carrying bags or crates, etc. (a bit like Novigrad in “The Witcher 3”).
    Tbf, i dont know how many people going in to cities. Imo even if devs add more life to cities most people still going to skip it. Sounds cool to be honest.

  6. Shops not refreshing/restocking. Bug or feature?

    +1 to Memoefe. also city needs to get caravans and other lords to come. This also effect restocking. lords and caravans sell and buy stuff from city. City has it is own production. It is direct connection with prosperity. If prosperity is low enough, city almost do not produce anything.

    Ahhhh so basically once there is a new update (1.3 for example), 1.2 goes live and 1.3 is beta?
    I dont know. There is times talewords give new beta at end of last beta, but we also had times we had no public beta. Also next public beta may not be 1.3, it can be 1.2.1

    It has steam's update history charts etc thing. Bannerlord use several internal beta in steam. If internal betas start to get several update in 1 week usually next update is close. Edit: This is usually, there is no way to confirm if update actually close or not. Only devs know.

    I believe Armagan himself even said something similar a while before the early access release, in that they tried implementing co-op for this game but it was too much of a headache. I have 0 programming knowledge & experience, but I imagine that they would either have to make the game turn-based (like HoMM?) or make it similar to how battles work in Bannerlord Online where you wait an x amount of time before each battle while time still moves in the overworld (which would cause a ton of other issues).
    Some modders made time still going in overworld but this make you need to rebalance everything. I think problem of Co-op is balanceing.

    @Macewindu16 imo, tw dont want to make a promise. They had several problems with promises in past.

    They dont know if they can make it to deadlines. They dont know if feature they are working is added to game or even possiable to make it. You know feature can be fundamentally too complex or incompatible with other features.

    We had several dataminers in past. TW chopped many features. Like religion, ethnic policy etc.

    Rain and snow effect made long time ago. There was a mode able to enable them. But Tw waited to add them to game. probably because bugs or incomplete aspect.

    But i am also want to know more about wtf happening. wtf they want to add and wtf they are going to add. I have hopes, tw will complete game in a decade.

    If you make any trade, you can not slaughter livestock before complete trade first.

    Day 216, level 18, not one war has been declared between factions. Not one castle or town has changed hands.
    I think this is a bug. If you make a bug repport and attach save file, taleworlds take a look and try to find a fix for it.

    This looks really nice, but the Aserai lands look very deprived of the new weather mechanics. Would TW think of making it rain more often in the Aserai coasts and more importantly, implementing Duststorms/Sandstorms in the southern part of the Aserai (it can have the exact same effects as rain & snow, just different visuals).
    Aseray land is in need of sand storms not rain

    I thought I read if they did a refactor they could change it but they don’t because of efficiency or something
    From what i remembering they can change 2048 to 10000 if they want but game engine can not handle more than 2048. Bugs, crashes etc. Game become unstable.

    Iirc Devs said it is engine limitation. Beyond 2048 game become unstable. Randomly crashing etc.

    there are some maps like the one on kranirog castle that has some really steep montains and yet you can climb them( i have also seen cavalry falling and dying there), will that be fixed or it is intended?
    I think they will fix it if you report it(like with ss in battlefield/castle/city. if it is in battlefield you need send world map spot as well. ). They fixing spots where soilders fall or stuck.

    Yep it is " i ". In turkish capital letter " i " is " İ ".
    side not " I " is capital version of " ı ". This letter do not exist in english.
    summery: infuluence symbol is " i ". In turkish " i "( İ ) and " I "( ı) different letters.
    kinda confusing for native english speakers i guess.

    Taleworlds has said repeatedly that they will never make Bannerlord coop, maybe some talented modder can do it but Taleworld devs have said they don't know how to do it because of the time stoppage for the pc in battles and towns/villages.
    What op saying is, he want co-op in battles. not in campain map. maybe they can do something about that.

    It is still in game. options/Gameplay Controls 5th togle option. "Stop game on focus lost"
