    A few suggestions based on the precept that UI is better the fewer clicks you have to use to get wherever you need

    - bulk crafting recipes for crafting materials
    - bulk crafting for items
    - the ability to press enter to accept a newly crafted item
    - configurable automatic troop sorting rules

    Unrelated to clicks
    - the ability to form patrols from villages/castles/cities that return prisoners to the fiefs they belong to
    - the ability to train/retrain yourself and companions for a cost of both money and time. Perhaps done with a new type of tavern traveler for each skill

    AS and handling are a function of weight and length. Length is defined by the base length of each part multiplied with the scale_factor inside the spitems.xml for each part that makes that weapon. Spitems also controls where the weapon hangs and where you grab it.

    As for adjusting item visuals - that most likely requires changing meshes themselves and without a way to pack and unpack files we can't do it.
    The game is easier to mod, it just requires knowledge of XML (fairly easy to read) and C#. It is what it is, I'm ok with it as long as they can make a better game.

Overall weapon crafting seems fairly straightforward, but there's some details I can't seem to be able to pinpoint - where are weapon speeds for crafted...

    Luring unique spawns into noldor and marshall armies is objectively easier and more rewarding than struggling to reach a high level and become a marshall before you start to fight them, and it's in the game, it isn't a cheat or an exploit. It's very easy yes, and that means the game is very easy. What I'm suggesting is it should be nerfed to make the game harder and to create a more even power advancement curve.

    I'm saying "This is easy and should probably be nerfed"

    Is it easy? Yes. Is it legit? Yes. Does it throw off the balance? Yes. So rather than trying to distract by strawmanning me and saying I'm bragging or "cheating" why don't you explain why a method that's easy, legit and unbalanced shouldn't be rebalanced? I can understand if it can't be balanced but then at the very least the game should make it clear at some point that it's against the "rules" and would be patched out if it were possible, and ask the player not to do it which would be better than making it possible and easy to do and not apparently any sort of a cheat or an exploit

    I mean, you can restrict yourself if you want and I'm not judging you for doing that. Just seems like you aren't addressing my arguments here.

    Also not saying that it must be changed. I think it should be changed but maybe the developers like their mod to be easy which is fine too. Not all mods have to be 1257AD, Brytenwalda or Clash of Kings, easy mods are fine as well. Just putting forth my opinion that the mod would be more rewarding if this was changed so that it was harder. More rewarding for experienced players anyway, perhaps not for new players who need easy qualis gems and wouldn't want it to be changed, and might try to sabotage any conversation about nerfing unique spawn luring to protect their easy qualis gems

    Consider providing a solution too when raising issues. So far nobody has provided anything better than the current status. Also, for reference, getting to lvl 25 is not that hard and by then you should be able to have a fair amount of top tier troops, followers and some fast horse that will allow you to take on armies on your own. I found demons to be the easiest due to the limited amount of cavs - the more cav, the more will ignore you and rush into the troops.

    And, at the end of the day, activating the cheats is also very easy to do, yet people control themselves against it. Perhaps people should exert more control in all regards or challenge themselves more.

    Not sure about the feasibility of this feature - when a fortress is taken, add an option to transfer current prisoners into garrison that we can later go through and edit.

    They mentioned revisiting all the scenes, so possibly the visit ones are included too.

    Is there any sort of quest associated with the treasure seeking parties on the map? If not, perhaps having some sort of radiant one would be fitting. Something like "got word of a treasure, we don't have the ability to go get it, but if you do you can keep x% of it while we keep the rest" with the option to either give nothing, something or the fair amount agreed upon, each choice with varied degrees of relationship change.

    Imagine after telling Alistair to shut up for the umpteenth time, he ambushes you in some random town/village.  Then leaves the party  :twisted:

    Even more chit chat between the companions would be welcome.

    I'd be more interested in seeing the existing stuff fixed to play in a proper dialogue sequence before adding more. It gets severely bad when both of the voice files play at once..

    It's not entirely balanced - some ambushes are just peasants with sticks, some are serpentors with iron bolts that put you down in no time.

    A companion (or more) wouldn't be too balanced, but 1-2 troopers from the common ranks should be fine, specially if there's a chance they get killed and you actually lose them.

    I want to apologize for my replies a few pages back. Indeed, others are welcome to discuss anything posted here, though one hopes for more than just "that's how it's supposed to be".

    True. Again, apologies for my comments.

    I still want to change the ambush behaviour a little, or at least see it evolve over time. As you grow more (in)famous, more want your skin. Makes sense you'd be more prepared, specially in such turbulent lands and ages. 1-2 commoner guards, or maybe "rumours" that some might want your death around <city area>. I'd change it myself, but as it stands I don't have time to learn yet another set of modding tools.
