They'd have to design a whole new combat system for VR. To make matters worse, it would have to be a physics-based combat system (everything else sucks), which means that you'd have a whole lot more going on per soldier on the field, making the battles much smaller.
So short answer from a Vive owner, no.
not really there games that use keyboard and mouse and VR for the head movement so if they change the how you view game they already have first person view implmented in game all they need to do is un anchor the head view movement from the walking so you can walk left right back wards with out looking that direction and then allow people to view around with the 360 and still be able to use game pad or mouse and keyboard for combat.
I think it be neat way to have viewable area via VR for head movement using keyboard and mouse for movement and combat and then if they also implmetned voice rec so we can talk to our troops like modders already made be quit the game honestly. - you can already implment this in alot of games that are not even VR capable for example arma 3 and arama 2 even battlefield games people use VR system to look around in and still use keyboard mouse and joystick..
I am not big fan of VR as in VR i do not want to stand up and pick up **** and use my hands or those dam remotes but I do like VR in games for head movement tracking..
in fact you could in way already use VR to track your head movement or the mouse movements it be better thought if you could seperate the head movement form body movements.
