    In Progress Xbox Series S Map stutter

    Note, the update to 1.1.14115 on March 11th did NOT solve the issue. It still persists and may even be stuttering a bit more, but I have no way to tell.
    It's related to the AI behavior. They do a hokey pokey when they are near enemy factions and are outnumbered, caravans, villagers, parties with low troop counts, they will run away and come back, run away and come back. This is most noticable during sieges. Get enough of them preforming the same "is it safe, nope" check will cause performance hits.

    Resolved Siege's for Player are broken

    Summary: Since the update, siege's are completely busted for the player, AI defenders have three times the amount of troops as the Player Attacker. Also it is hit or miss to get AI to use siege equipment as Attacker, they will not use towers if a ram is available.

    If an AI ally joins your siege, they take it over, although you can still build and remove siege engines, and towers, you are locked out of attacking, only work around is to leave the siege and join the AI Ally.

    If the AI ally launches a siege as the attackers, they have three times as many troops as defenders. They also man all siege equipment.
    How to Reproduce: Go siege any settlement and attack, look at the number of attackers you get. Do the same as above, let an AI ally take over your siege. Join an existing Siege.

    Summary: Sieges before the update for the player worked fine.
    The above still applies to Aeseri castles and towns. 170 defenders to 50 attackers. Getting slaughtered.

    Was just thinking the same! It´s alarming. Just awhile ago hotfix came several times a week.
    Given the number of bugs that came it should have come one each day.
    Blame Microcucks. They have some bull**** in place that makes companies jump through hoops to apply patches.

    I am playing gamepass on PC and have the exact same issue/version numbers as ^^. Guess I'm dead in the water too :sad:.
    You might be able to submit your save. Not sure, you will have to look into it where your saves are stored and if M$ encrypted them or not. Google here you come.

    Resolved Militias don't take casualties when being starved

    Summary: I besiege any town in the game or castle and when they run out of food, the garrisons die off from attrition, but not the militias. So just then I besieged a town with 700 troops, 200 garrison and 500 militia for 15 days, the garrison all died but they still had 500 militia left which took no losses.
    How to Reproduce
    : Besiege anything until it starves
    You can't starve the militia anymore, pretty sure it was in the patch notes.

    In Progress Crash whenever controller disconnects

    Summary: Whenever in game, either on campaign or multiplayer, not in main menu, when the controller is disconnected for even a second, the game will crash and will force you back to the Xbox home screen.
    How to Reproduce: When loaded into the game either in campaign or multiplayer, either manually disconnect your controller, or wait until the controller disconnects itself due to empty batteries or inactivity.

    Manual Campaign Movement (console)

    Does anyone know of a way to manually control the overland party on Xbox/Ps5? Like using the joystick to move the party? Is this a thing on PC? And is it planned for console versions?
    Plug in a keyboard and mouse, if that works in the playstation. I'm on Xbone, it works there and I am assuming PS is a little less controlling when it comes to attaching things to your console via Bluetooth or cable.

    Yes I think they are trying to alienate their customer base on purpose that makes perfect sense. They just want to stop making money and just get out of business. No one actually likes money it's disgusting. Have you ever tried tasting it? Yucky.

    1.1.0 has some frustrating issues

    I get that 1.1.0 has some exciting new features but after playing with it for two or three hours it feels like a downgrade.
    I wanted to continue on a savefile I started a while ago in 1.0, I own half the map but suddenly I don't know anyone, even my vassals are complete strangers and I don't know what they look like. That doesn't feel good. I guess it's okay because you wouldn't have that problem on a new save and I just installed a mod that solved that problem. But it is not the only one.
    Prisoners used to be sorted by how much they are worth, and now that's gone for some reason. Someone apparently thought "you know what it's not cool that players can easily and conveniently get the most valuable prisoners when they win a battle and can't take everyone because of their prisoner limit. Let's make them manually sort something because clicking little arrows in a menu and checking soldiers level is super fun". Admittedly that's not a big issue but WHY? Why would you just remove a QoL feature that unarguably makes the game more enjoyable and less tedious? Even the nobles are now mixed in with the troops and not always at the top of your list so you have to be careful when ransoming your prisoners at the tavern, before you could just spam click below the group of nobles to quickly sell all the soldiers! Why make the game more confusing? Who took that decision and why? Why? Why? It's literally making me crazy! WHY?
    And another "why" is about siege defense. Now you can't deploy your troops before a siege battle when defending, they just go wherever. WHYYYYYYYYY? The groups are kept from your previous siege battle so if you were in offense during the last battle well too bad you just gotta keep these formations now or reorganize them with f3 f5 without being able to sort them properly with shields, heavy armors and stuff. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY? Why are you making things less convenient and more frustrating? Are you telling me that the defenders in a siege got taken by surprise and didn't get any time to organize themselves? Oh crap there's a huge army that has been bombarding our city for days but now that they've started walking towards us we've suddenly noticed that something was up! This makes no sense even from a roleplaying perspective, it is not realistic at all, defenders would be ready to mobilize on short notice during a siege unless they all want to die! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY? This makes even less sense from a gameplay perspective. Why would it be funnier to have your soldiers randomly thrown into inappropriate groups and piled on top of terrible defensive position? It's not like I'm trying to win a siege at 3vs1... I just don't understand how a person could reason that taking away an obvious an logical quality of life feature makes sense. WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY? Okay I just lost all sanity I'm going to go feed my dog chocolate while wearing a tin foil hat in the microwave now, good bye.
    Seriously these are minor issues (although the last one kind of isn't minor) but it's just so baffling that it's making me crazy.
    Honestly, they have been working on that game going on what? Twelve years now? I think they are sick of it, like an angry little teenager, you just want them out of the house, so what do you do? You make their life a living hell, so the first chance they get, they bounce.

    v1.1.0 sieges are completely broken now

    It really bothers me that you no longer get to deploy before a siege defense... Why? My party has been in the city for days we should have had time to prepare for battle
    I used to spend some time setting up killboxes and funnel the ennemy inside, it felt great and when I did it well I could win sieges with pretty bad odds.
    It just baffles me that someone actively took that decision. Why? How does it make the game better? Why take away a good feature that was previously in the game? this is the opposite of a quality of life update...
    First time? This is pretty standard practice for Taleworlds, make the game least enjoyable as possible, honestly I think they are trying to kill it.

    For the first 5, damn, that really is a feature, it's one of the things I don't understand at all how TW thinks it's fine, they've said the fief voting system is "work in progress" (over a year ago), yet seem totally fine with 90% of the vote being based on who has most fiefs nearby.

    It just simply doesn't work in practice, not when your kingdom just expands in one way. I get a fief, then have more chance to get next, even more for third and by the fourth I will 99% get all new fiefs unless some new clan joins. Of course, I can choose to give some away, but it makes little sense. I really don't think this is any harder than changing one line of code...


    for 1 though, I don't even know what you mean, haven't experienced that. Skybox hah. Yeah it's definitely a feature, some castles just have high security measures so you can't spy on them after death.
    Go siege a castle/town and wait for an AI ally army to show up and join you. You'll see what I mean.

    Also, the fief giving is completely broke now, the same lord got all 10 towns/castles my army took. He wasn't even involved, in fact I think he was across the map in Stugia doing tourneys. They broke something even worse than before.

    Need More Info Module Mismatch

    Version number bottom right main menu: v1.1.1.14115
    Version number top right of Saved Campaigns screen: v1.0.3.90555
    I am not sure how to see the version of the saved file I am trying to load. However when I go to load them it says “These modules’ versions are different: Native Multiplayer SandBox Core Sandbox CustomBattle StoryMode. Do you want to load the saved game with different modules?”
    Canceling brings me back to the Saved Campaigns menu while selecting Yes begins to load the saved game. All saved games receive this message and all saved games crash 1/4 to 1/3 of loading and take me back to the Xbox Home Screen.

    1. When you are sieging and an Ally takes over the siege, and you can no longer assault and the Ally will sit there until one of the following happens. They lose cohesion and disband, or you leave the siege and join their attack. THIS IS NOT A BUG, IT IS A FEATURE. It has been in the game longer...

    In Progress AI doesn't start assault in sieges

    Since the recent update via ps5 ai will not initiate the attack during siege until after ambush or Sally mission. Also after any of the siege battles ie Sally, ambush or attack no prisoner or loot screen appears. A pop up will show a loot percentage acquired but it is not in inventory.
    4 months bro, 4 months still in the game. It's not a bug anymore, it's a feature.
