  1. Turf Wars In Sturgian Cities

    The hideouts are fine.
Hideouts aren't fine, they're just doable. By spending time outside hunting down their possible garrison groups(I've seen a single group of 47 mountain bandits enter their hideout and sit there for days, how am I supposed to go up against more than 47 mountain bandits with 8 randomly chosen units?), and waiting for the already garrisoned groups to leave. At that point it's 8v10, which is easily beat. I can achieve victory against 20+ bandits, but not 60.
  2. Turf Wars In Sturgian Cities

Hm, I thought this is the normal case. I only tried this one time and ended up being slaughtered by a horde of bandits. Can't remember if that was in Sturgia, but it felt unbalanced. Like you said, I killed a dozen on my own but my companions got slaughtered in no time leaving me with several enemies on my own, too many to deal with. I made a way around the back streets from then on, guess it's time to try this again...

[EDIT] Okay, I went to Husn Fulq and cleared the backstreet, and the second wave of bad guys spawned in town with only a handful of my men at my side. Maybe it's random if you can fight them outside with all of your army, or it's a bug.
I believe it's a bug in Aserai and Sturgian cities then, seeing as how I've been allowed to use my army all previous times I've tried. It also said in the battle panel where you get the choice to leave, that it'd be 152 of my units vs 22 of theirs, then I only got to bring 8. In civilian outfits nonetheless. Still, thanks for the reputation tip, that's the whole reason I fought the gang anyway.
  3. Turf Wars In Sturgian Cities

Clearing a part of the city of gang members, you'll get the decision to stay and fight the rest of the gang, as usual. Except in Sturgian cities, it seems you do not get to fight using your army, against their 20 or something thugs, outside the city gates as you normally would. Instead, you get...
  4. My suggestion to make hideouts more fun.

They aren’t too difficult. You only need to recruit 3-4 good companions and equip them with good gear. Have a small party of veteran troops also ones at top will be with you. Hideouts seems easy but repetitive and need multiple scenes, layouts, and resolutions.
Imagine having to fight 60 mountain bandits that all start throwing javelins as soon as you attack, or start walking, with 8 troops.
