  1. Suggestion: Change how food is displayed

Thanks, I should've clarified that I know that, but I think it is more useful to always show that, instead of showing the absolute amount of food you have.
  2. Suggestion: Make castles harder to conquer

Ok, I agree, castles tend to have smaller amount of defenders. That makes the need to give them a defensive boost even greater. And it doesn't make sense to give them more villages/prosperity as castles were all about excerting military control over an area, not about being an economic center. So I think the best way to do that, is to make significant changes to the siege maps of castles. Castles are supposed to be smaller and better/more easily defended, compared to cities.
  3. Suggestion: Make castles harder to conquer

Is it? Why is that? Higher food production allowing for larger garrisons and higher prosperity boosting militia?
  4. Couple of suggestions

    1. Add an ability to access the quest log while inside a location (town, village, etc.) Right now, if I forgot what I had to do, who I had to talk to, I need to leave the location to the campaign map, before I can access the quest log, only to have to go back inside the location again. 2...
  5. Suggestion: Make castles harder to conquer

Right now, what is the difference between a castle and a town? A town has a market and is usually richer, no more. If you can choose between owning a castle or a town, a town is always better, period. Suggestion: Make the siege battle map for castles harder to conquer/easier to defend. I don't...
  6. Suggestion: Change how food is displayed

What does "162 food" tell me? Nothing, unless I also know how much food my party/army consumes each day. So I suggest you change the way food is displayed. Instead of showing how much food you have, it should display how many days worth of food you have. If you have "12 food" on day 1, it is a...
  7. Suggestion: add a pause button

Suggestion 1: Allow you to pause during a battle. I don't mean escape, as the pause button would allow you to look around a bit, or even order your troops. Suggestion 2: If you don't want that, at least start every battle paused. If I start a battle, I get a loading screen for 10 - 40 seconds...
  8. Suggestion: Reduce the amount of loading needed!

When I defeat an enemy party, I first get a loading screen. Then I get a second loading screen. Then I see the defeated enemy hero and I can decide to release or imprison him. Then I get another loading screen. Then I get another loading screen. And then I get the second defeated enemy hero...
  9. Suggestion: Encyclopedia

Suggestion: When you open the encyclopedia, you should be able to automatically start typing in the search bar. As it is now, you have to first click in the search bar, before you can type anything. It is a tiny, tiny discomfort, but it frustrates me nevertheless.
  10. Most AI Armies Starve?

Agreed: I see this happen as well. I think the army general only buys food for his own party and does not take into consideration that the parties in his armies can't (or won't) buy their own food as well. This way, if the army is maintained for a long time, the parties run out of food, and the general only buys food for his own party, which then results in the entire army running out of food very fast.
  11. Khuzait have lot of advantage compared to other kingdom

I think these advantages are fine, but they should not be combined with so many starting fiefs as well! Their kingdom starts with one of the most total amount of towns/castles/villages, which doesn't make much sense for a recently settled nomadic people.
  12. Small changes for authentic bridge-, settlement- and border-placements

Completely agree and a lot of good suggestions. It seems like most of the natural borders are ignored. A lot of castles are also placed in terrible spots. For example, I think in your 5th post, south-west of Jamarys, there is a castle all the way on the southern coast, but it is protecting nothing. The castle should be more to the north (where Arpotis is), with its bound villagers to its south.

Combined with the strategic positions, I also think the products produced often don't make sense. Olives and grapes are produced in provinces that have a permanent winter, for example. I believe the developers have attempted to give every kingdom/region a diverse economy, but the game needs a lot more specialization of goods in certain regions.
  13. Suggestion: Allow a pause button in battles

    1. Auto-pause the battle when it starts. I have a slow laptop and right now: I have to stare at the loading screen to wait for the battle to start. I can't leave the laptop do something else quickly, as the battle starts right away. An auto-pause at the start also allows you to look around the...
