  1. Clan Independence? Possible Bug or I'm just missing something

I think the dragon banner quest is almost universally hated and completely avoided by most player after the "create kingdom" option was added.
Would make sense to not waste time on it. Maybe make a new questline at a later date as this one is very ill received and has many many problems.
Agreed, but I expected the team would fix known issues.
However, with new patches everything becomes to be worse and worse - now crafted items dissappear, vassals run around with 0 troops while the system shows (army invite) they have 188 troops, etc. etc. I am kind of tired to see how things are "fixed", will wait for Cyberpunk.
  2. Clan Independence? Possible Bug or I'm just missing something

So we all confirm it is a bug - the independent box is not ticked either if you left another kingdom being a mercenary or if you have never joined any other kingdom, right?
There are two ways to get it ticked - one is to join another kingdom as a vassal and leave it, another one is "to scratch your left ear using a right hand", i.e. use developer mode / cheat mode etc.

I wonder why it is not fixed yet? Other priorities?
  3. Poll: In the end balance state of the game, how much income should be passive vs. active?

Funny thing - trying to hire a lord with only 114 troops (like a minor one) after successfully passing the questions/answers step, I have tried to use auto-calculation to make him a final offer - he requested 2.8 million denars!
Just for fun I accepted the offer (had about 2.85 million on me) and do you know what happened next? He just left my kingdom in less than a week! Fortunately I didn’t have enough time to give him any castle or town (the inability of a “king” simply transfer part of his property to vassals is another HUGE issue, I believe. The “king” shall be called “a can leader”, but not a “king” if his abilities are so limited.
But the monetary system is completely broken at the moment, as well as many other things like perks, property management system, war/peace declarations from other kingdoms, item prices
  4. My suggestion to make hideouts more fun.

The most annoying thing in attacking hideouts is "follow" command, i.e. F1-F2, which is required to keep your troops all together to be more effective in close combat. Every time some of the troops or companions stays right in front of your (like1 foot distance in real life), and if you use a bow, it is really inconvenient, cause the guy gets a first shot. Sometime you are waiting and aiming the target, and that companion jumps in front of you unexpectedly at random time. "Follow" command has to be definitely "Follow", they shall stay around you but not in front of you.

I have found a solution to attack the hideouts, it seems - use rare "blunt" arrows with +2 damage, forest bandits get killed in two shots instead of 4 (using 150+ archery skill and the best bow in game steppe war bow -$62k+). With piercing +4 arrows they require 4 shots usually to be killed (taking in consideration their lack of armor) while my heavy armored troops get killed in two shots, and those bandits use regular arrows and simple low cost bows. I can imagine what archery skill those bandits shall have to be as effective as they are ...
