This is happening on 1.5.5 for me, start any "Caravan Ambush" it will crash either when the caravan makes contact with the enemy bandit group or when you try to join.
Vanilla game, stable branch, no mods.
This is happening for me too, plus when I press alt to see unit composition of the bandit group.

  2. Suggestion: Horses should be fed

Horses eat grass, its all over the place.
Steppe horses can manage only with grass. Most of the other horse types requires grain to stay alive.
  3. Combat system should be changed or tweaked

    1. Right now the combat system is so stupid, it's just ridiculous. Looter with fast enough hammer can destroy an armored top unit in mere seconds, because of that idiotic staggered condition, when you are hit. I don't even say about a situation, when an absolutely trash and unskillful unit can attack with a speed of a propeller.

    2. Berserks and ulfhednars were legendary because of their combat prowess, they were so fast, it was pretty hard to hit them. In Bannerlord they are absolutely useless, because can't protect themselves from ranged attacks, especially thrown spears. In my game brigands kill ulfhednars as easily as peasants.
Blunt weapons almost completely ignore armor. So heavy armor protects troops against swords but not clubs.
Thrown weapons are too fast and have tons of damage. Also they can hit accurately at 50 m. Against that weapons your berserker are no better than looters.
  4. Looters = snipers now?

The problem is not that they have a few rocks, but that they have so many, that they have more range than a javelin, and pinpoint accuracy. And I'm not sure if there's time to look around on the ground for a rock that's not too big or too small to make a useful thrown weapon during a battle, so they have to carry all of these things on their person. You try carrying around 10 or 15 fist sized rocks in your pockets. Arrows and javelins and bolts have quivers. Where are they keeping all those rocks?

You can, of course, kill a person by throwing rocks at them...eventually.... But an armored person, even lightly armored, facing you in combat is going to mostly laugh at a thrown rock, easily stepping aside, or blocking it with a shield, even catching it. Now, if they had slings.... But then they'd be as deadly as those ridiculous forest bandits.
You can throw stone at 40 m/s. Normally you need a sling and training to do that.
  5. [Shield] Directional Blocking

I can understand if the Shield is a smaller size and you'd need to position it to cover your body, but I'm dying to axes and swords when I'm lugging around an Oval shield in a Tournament.
Your blocking direction is not that important to stop you from getting hit but your shield must be covering you physically from attack. Instead of changing block direction you can simply turn your whole body. Also shield size and how you grip the shield is important.
