Improvement: Better way of showing attack direction + crosshair for melee weapons

Currently, Bannerlord is still using the same Attack Direction (let's call it AD further on) marks as Warband was. They are pretty old school, and could be improved a bit to: help to aim melee attacks more precisely, be more visible to the player, better indicate why the chosen direction of...

    Addition: Notepad in Encylopedia

When playing the game for longer times it's easy to forget about some stuff. It would be cool if there was a place in game to write it down. One place where it could go is the Encyclopedia, where you could add notes to existing Encyclopedia pages, or create new ones. Currently, I'm using either...

    Modding question! Help

    Hey Moonfish,

If a patch interferes with one of the mods, causing the game to crash, than you should disable the mod to play the game. Now regarding continuing your campaign, it depends. Some mods change the game to a point where the saves become incompatible with the vanilla game. Other mods don't do that.

Most moders will make a note in the mod description (on the mod web page) if it breaks compatibility with the vanilla game. So if you are considering using a mod, read through it's description. If you're not sure: launch the game with the mod, start campaign, make a save, launch the game without the mod, load the moded save file, and play for a bit.
If you already have a mod and the game stopped working after the latest patch, go to the mod website and see if there was an update released, maybe your problem was already resolved. If not try launching the game without the mod and load the save file, if it works, it works.

All mods I've used so far - Detailed Character Customization, Fast Dialogue, TournamentXP(no longer using this one), and Bannerlord Tweaks - don't break the saves files.

    Arena Skill XP

FYI latest update (e1.0.6) adds combat experience gain for tournaments and practice fights.

    Arena Skill XP

    +1 this!

I guess that you don't earn XP in arena (tournament or practice), because:
    • in-game time does not pass, and
    • player does not loose hit points
    making it "free" XP.

However, I don't see why not just pass the in-game time, when a player takes part in a practice round or a tournament? This is what happened when training troops on training grounds in Warband.
Or just don't regenerate players HP when finishing fights in Arena?
    Or both?

Anyway, IMHO this have to change, as it makes practice fights kind of nonsensical. Especially taking into account that you start with skills at a lower level than any of your recruits.

P.S.: Thankfully there already is a mod that works around this - https://www.nexusmods.com/mountandblade2bannerlord/mods/27 .
