  1. Shall we talk about the paper armors?

    I was aware that this armor is much stronger than back then.
    Who would not want to fight more than once with out hospital,..
    In your days it wouldn`t work with more savety.
    BUT it means that there should be a CLEAR difference between non armored and good armored in the game.

    -> i mean one hit more dosen`t make the cut and Blunt 100% Penetration is a Joke,...

    A tribute systeme would be nice.
    You pay xy% of income and become protection.

    Bandits or war could be preventing villagers from supplying
    That is a funny part -> the raw material is there in some places but the money is low at best.

    Ocs Hall:
    Flax -> Linen from 9Gold green Flax ~40-54Gold/day
    Maybe the Linen market was full,..
    Would be nice to see the files.
    I didn't saw pottery as material to produce them in the files.
    Maybe not at the producing stage from the shops -> demand from Town maybe listet?
    Would make it simpler to just take Olives and Grapes to make a price.
    Olives/Grapes + Pottery price is maybe wonky.

    I looked into it a bit more in Vlandia, what ressources ~ should be enough in Town.

    Pravend: Grain, Grapes, Olives

    Sargot: Flax, (Grain 129?)

    Ocs Hall: Grain 400 ? Clay ~100(green) test was ~ 100 Gold/day, Hardwood was constantly buyed as i walked -> to low
    and Flax (green) only ~58 Gold / Day?

    Galend: Grapes, Olives

    Jaculan: Olives, some Wool, (Grain146? but red)

    Charas: Olives

    Ostican: Flax, ~~~ Grain/Grapes/Olives ? hard to tell if enough

    Rovalt: Grain, Olives, Flax (Iron Ore red, not enough produktion,..)

    Grain/Brewery seams the way to go, there is more in the market.
    I think the system is also not very flexibel -> Every place will have 1,2 Workshops that work and no other.
    The flow of materials will most likely stay the same.

    Traders Option, to bring Ressource xy to Workshop would help. (maybe Quests as Bonus)

    How many raw materials the use?
    -> Grain is a good exampel, what happens if you build in every City 2 Brewrys, would it drain the Grain from the market?

    Why are some ressources not in the City from the Towns or not enough?
    -> Ocs Hall: Hardwood, Flax, Clay Towns but what works?
    Carpenter no, Clothier no, Pottery not really,....
    There may be a distribution problem with the raw materials.

    I would like to infestigate this a little more.

    It is not the only way -> it is the easy way,..
    I think it is wrong in some parts.

    Fighting has the risk of dying.
    Twicking YES, but no Plot armor!

    I would hate "PLOT" armor for higher tier.

    Let them decide wich part of the army engage.

    And wounded are a "SICK" Bonus to level your Surgeon.
    More a good than a bad thing,...

    We just released another hotfix for the beta branch:
    • Player kingdoms should no longer declare war without player action.
    • Fixed a crash related to settlement production.

  14. No diplomacy in the game at all? No long term interests of factions than war?

    While declaring war kingdoms do not make cheat and do not declare war more frequently to player kingdom.

    They declare war to kingdoms which has (total settlement value / total party strength) ratio high, this is one of the most important factor for now - it can be changed when new diplomacy (war-peace decleration) developments are implemented. For now they do not consider that faction is player kingdom or not while declaring war there is no additional bonus / score for player faction.

    Currently war decleration / peace mechanisms are basic and they will be developed by time. For now one of the most important factor is (total settlement value / strength) ratio. With 1.3.0 AI lords are recruiting more and they are trying to fill their parties as much as possible also they start to get a small amount of daily xp to their troops (this is one of the three cheats ai do, we have to implement this otherwise it is so hard to lower recruit ratio). Previously game was not challanging at late game and lord parties were full of recruits and they were on map with less number of troops. Now recruit ratio is also dropped to 25-30% from 50% and average party size using ratio is increased to 80% from 55-60%. Thats why their strength is also increased and game become more challanging. In 1.2.0 an average lord party with 100 party size was on map with 55-60 troops now this number is 80, probably this is something good for game and more logical. I know there are missing features at diplomacy for now (they will be implemented by time) and it can be hard to get new settlements to your kingdom and protect all when you have stronger enemies. To be successful at this I suggest you to hire mercenaries or persuade some lords to join your faction before getting lots of new settlements. If you succeed this and decrease that ratio (total settlement value / strength) other kingdoms do not declare wars to you easily or they accept making peace for less amounts. If you cannot do these for now it will be hard to cope with other kingdoms.

    Also soon (1.4.0) they will respawn with less troops (with only 10% of party size, currently this is 25%). Also will try to decrease escape chances more.

    When you make peace (by paying money) they can redeclare war in a short time. This is one of the biggest problems for now for player probably. This will be fixed but I cannot make time estimation to fix because these war peace decleration systems will be connected to voting systems. There will be big changes there.



    AI garrisons are not recruiting but they have also daily xp gain like other npc parties. If lord parties recruit from raided villages this is a bug and will examine this.
  15. Waring factions should not be able to bypass choke point castles to invade enemy territory

    Weapons and Armor above tier 2-3 only in castles, from the Armor/Weapon smith.
    Upgrading Troops after Tier 3? only in castles.
    Troop training in castles.
    Castle upgrades: jousting place and trainings Place/Gear.

    Make castles great again,.. or something,..

    Maybe they can balance the prices from the top gear with this.
    -> Towns only take low tier or very cheap weapons.
  16. (Vote included) New update and the caravan remains 30. And it was claimed it get supported

    There are no visible borders in the game. :sad:

    I would say:

    Caravans on the land of an enemy (why would you go there anyway) or some one they are also in war und yours can be attackt.

    If your Caravan stays in neutral Lands, they should not be allowed to be attacked.
    I would be upset if an army comes in to my land and attacks a caravan.


    Give the Caravan orders to stay away from danger and the Bandits and free Mercenary (maybe a Quest to hunt caravans for this) are your only problem.

    A caravan should not have the Manpower of a big army.

    Hunting as free Mercenary caravans for a lord oder getting info that a lord sends some one to attack yours would be nice quests.

    Also if they have lots of wounded troops they now go settlement and rest more. All these will be at beta branch soon.

  18. Trading fiefs should not be a high lvl skill

    225 -> Soc 3 and 5 Focus Points and you can get it. (very slow)

    Some restrictions should be in place.

    fief vs money + Peace for xy (very long time / years? )
    Trade fiefs vs fiefs closer to Kindom
    ???

    The reality is, that a fief is the most expensive thing in this Game.

    The amount of land, people, ressources AND Power it brings is ridiculous.
    Simply money alone is not enough in my opinion.

    I knew it was Early Access, but have never experienced such a lackbuster of an early access game ever.
